Re: Is it possible to setup a VPN route like this with RB201

You're right, Mikrotik RB2011 is not big enough to deal with your bandwith, but the Asus can't do it either, I think. In my job I'll use a Juniper SRX240H2 - SRX500 or a Fortigate 100D - 200D to do that. Maybe a CCR ..... /ip firewall nat add action=masquerade chain=srcnat comment="default configura...

Re: Is it possible to setup a VPN route like this with RB201

/ip firewall nat add action=masquerade chain=srcnat comment="default configuration" out-interface=ether1-gateway You are doing NAT with the RB2011, you have to remove this. You'll need a static route on the Asus ponting the Mikrotik to the 192.168.88.0/24 subnet. Don't use dhcp on the Mikrotik gate...

Re: Is it possible to setup a VPN route like this with RB201

Do you have a 1Gb bandwith ISP?
You'll need a CCR!
The FTTH are smaller here, usually 100Mb/10Mb.

Can you put your export again?

Re: Is it possible to setup a VPN route like this with RB201

AC56U is sitting at the gateway simply because of its hardware NAT acceleration. I will lose nearly half the bandwith if RB2011 sits there. What ammount of bandwith are we talking about? RB2011 will deal with 200Mb without any problem. I've got a RB951g (less powerfull than yours) with a 200Mb/20Mb...

Could you explain it a little bit more?
Login to where?
Does IRCTC means Indian Railway and Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited?
And are you saying that they only sell two tickets per client IP and you want to change your IP every time you go there?
Incredible!

Re: Does Mikrotik Switches support STP

Yes, bridges are cpu hungry. Use the switch chip, if you have one, and master-slave relations to join the interfaces.
Use interface bonding instead of rstp to have failover links, but you will need stacked devices to have full failover doing interface bonding. :(

Re: Bridging VLAN interfaces on the same physical port

I've use fortigate vdoms and juniper vrf, and you can put the same subnet on diferents vlans of the same phisical interface because they belongs to a diferent routers. But same phisical interface means same mac address. Thinking on it, your provider's router will ask for the mac of the desired IP, a...

Re: simple interface routing

Sorry but I can't understand what you are doing right now.

Can you put the adresses of the servers and the subnets. And an alias or whatever of the public addresses.

You don't need to use bridging to put the interfaces together. RG450G has a switch chip inside.

Don't forget this, and remove port16 from the vlan tagging. It's an access port for a MTA you have to tag incomming packets. /interface ethernet switch ingress-vlan-translation add customer-vlan-format=untagged-or-tagged new-customer-vid=100 ports=ether16-slave-local service-vlan-format=untagged-or-...

Re: RB750 VLAN trunk to RB1100AHx2

If you're planing to use it as a switch (the RB1100 will do the routing) use the switch chip, configure access ports to each vlan and a trunk to RB1100. Is faster than using bridges. RG450G bridge speed is 0,76Mb If you mix your ISP VLAN with your inter-swicth link in a trunk you'll have 1Gb-ISP_spe...
