New advice on Manual Firmware update - Wiki page outdated?

I have an SXT Lite5 that was just recently installed to link me onto a rural WISP that was replacing a NanoM5 so I'm not too familiar with RouterOS. OK....so with RouterOS I should have better luck at accessing the windows LAN via PPTP connection than I do with M0n0Wall?
