Currently using a TP-Link Archer A10 for AP, getting 400Mbps wireless bandwidth performance without a hitch on the 5GHz band, 100Mbps straight on the 2.4GHz band. PD: I know I can just enjoy my OpenWRT powered ac2 and leave this forum but advanced routing features (like VLANs) are more polished on ROS.

But the rate at which the beacons are sent changes from 6Mbps to 1 Mbps, even with mode "n-only"
Try setting
1. the basic rate to 12 Mbit/s
2. mode g/n.
3. disable all b rates (supported+basic)
5. activate all supported rates >= 12 Mbit/s

Let´s see what beacon information you get afterwards.

On a wAP ac with RouterOS 6.47.2 on 5 GHz (80MHz, 5180) and a Windows 10 laptop with Intel AX200 which is right next to the wAP ac (<20 cm) and is connected at 866 Mbit/s, the maximum download is 287 Mbit/s and maximum upload is 171 Mbit/s. This firmware will also be ported to the cAP ac when the devs figure out a way to boot OpenWRT without a stripped down copy of U-Boot.
A recent openWRT built for hAP ac2 seems to work on cAP ac, too

Upgrading wAP ac devices from 6.47.1 to v7.1beta1 results in dead devices. Had to netinstall them with to make them working running again with ROS 6.

Look at Cambium, Software is included , all needs are supported ....
The prices for Cambium´s access points are still higher than Aruba´s:
- Cambium XV3-8: ~1000$
- Cambium XV2-2: ~350$
- Cambium E600: ~330$

I can get the AP-555, AP-505H or AIP-315 for less.

Does it worked for you?
I tried your solution using the same bridge horizons value on different CAPs but clients just connect once at a time. If I have a client connected on AP1 another client on AP2 is unable to connect.

Did you had the same problem?
No, I haven't had those problems so far.

3. I had a working cAP ac with version 6.45.5 with capsman mode enabled. I upraded to v7 beta1. The cAP ac wasn´t able to connect to the CAPSMAN controller which is running 6.45.5 afterwards and told me about timeouts.

I tried the same thing with AC client very closed and I could never exceed 25Mbps using 802.11 protocol.

Did you try setting multicast helper to full? This fixed some LAN to WiFi problems I was experiencing..
I have multicast helper activated since I needed IPv6 for CAPSMAN forwarding. This doesn´t fix the problem with "dhcp offering lease...for...without success"

Glad it is not just me, I have the same issue effecting 1000's of units, if you disable the CAP and enable everything works again for a period of time and stops again. I have raised tickets with support to get Zero reply so a reply saying upgrade is further than I have got. I hope this gets resolve...

[srcnat] strange entry = "!1000,32"

Hello,

I just found an entry within a srcnat rule:
chain=srcnat action=src-nat to-addresses=176.18.1.15" connection-limit=!1000,32 routing-mark=r_src160 src-address=10.17.160.0/19
What will !1000,32 do? "1000,32" would make sense for me, but "!1000,32"?

I have 2x CCR1036 with >130 wAP AC, cAP AC, hAP AC, hAP AC lite, reaching up to 1800 connected clients, 1.3 Gbit/s throughput. I have 60 to 70% of CPU usage on one CCR1036.

So, I suggest you to buy 2x CCR1072. Don't use CHR, it doesn't scale well.
Take cAP AC, although mounting is crucial.

Damn, I ordered 300 cAP AC devices and was informed by the distributor about the fire. What are my chances to get those devices within the next 4 weeks? Do you have a current timetable for shipping dates for each product?

yep, i've upgraded to latest stable first, then to 6.43rc51 both OS and firmware
