Re: dont fragment bit - clearing

Although 12 years have passed, I will still write the notes, since I myself was looking for an answer.
Now in "ip firewall mangle" is among the action "action = clear-df".

Re: Regional restrictions for new shipments of devices?

"local distributor" does not know absolutely nothing and does not want to find out anything. This is why you see this topic on the forum. So any mikrotik device, beginning in 2018, will have regional restrictions for Russia, right? And how for other countries? Is there an international ver...

Re: hAP destroing 3G Dongles

At the moment I tested the 951Ui-2nD with three modems: Huawei E3272, Huawei E3372, ZTE MF831. Problems I did not see and "USB Power Reset" also works fine. Now the device is mounted on a remote location with Huawei E3272, we'll see how it will. Time will tell. But I still do not know the ...

Checked MikroTik S-RJ01 module at work. It works well in all modes - 10/100 (Full/Half duplex) and 1Gb. MDI/MDIX also works fine.

Re: Change speed of SFP-module on CCR1036-12G-4S

And this is personally MikroTik "feature" for all boards models or it depends of module model?
I'm planning to use modules MikroTik S-85DLC05D and MikroTik S-RJ01

FTP-server on MikroTik. Can't upload files.

Hello! There is a FTP-server on the MikroTik. The computer and one IP-camera with no problems use it. But other Chinese IP-camera only creates directories, but can not create files on the server. On another server that is not a MikroTik (it's NAS), the Chinese IP-camera creates the directories and f...

Re: Please tell nominal value elements for RB800.

After talking with the support received the following information: It is: C418 - 100nF 16V 0402 Capacitator. It is filtering some frequencies in feedback chain, and it is not affecting normal work for the device. So - all in all it can be OK to have it work without it - just in some special occasion...

Please tell nominal value elements for RB800.

Hello! Recently bought a used RB800 and saw the damaged element on the board (possibly a capacitor). I have the same problem.... I have a script for DynDNS, which uses fetch for their work: # get the current IP address from the internet (in case of double-nat) /tool fetch mode=http address="checkip.dyndns.org" src-path="/" dst-path="/dyndns.checkip.html" :delay 1 :loca...
