Re: longevity of devices

Just replaced a cap in my RB750G. This is supposedly the better one (Suscon MG) but it's still crap. There is also yellowing on the case and PCB from the heat. If you're concerned about longevity then after the warranty has expired change all crapcaps and arrange some ventilation. Caps should not fa...

1d 21h, all routers are ok from the ssh bug's perspective. Still on rc20.

Re: v6.26 will be released on 6th week of 2015, check the la

Sergej, My small sample of routers (2x2011UiAS, 1x2011UAS, 1x450G, 1x750G) updated to rc20 are fine ssh-wise until now. Uptime is around 24h at the moment. The good thing is that at least the winbox interface never locked up on version 6.26. I'll continue to monitor but I'm unable to help otherwise ...

Re: v6.26 will be released on 6th week of 2015, check the la

Not sure when I applied it, but at the moment 17 was the latest RC. ssh load should be fixed since 15 (according to an older Changelor), so it's still an issue. Of course, they erased the line stating the ssh fix from the Changelog, so maybe it's not fixed after all and the developers know that. Thi...

Re: v6.26 will be released on 6th week of 2015, check the la

May I suggest that you fix the CHANGELOG and KNOWN ISSUES (nonexistent?) files once and for all. How can you call yourself a professional software developer when you cannot properly track stuff like that? How can you expect users to test your releases when they are flying basically blind? Couple of ...

Re: v6.26 almost ready for FULL RELEASE - please check lates

I've seen 100% load on 2 RB2011UiAS, both with 6.25. One of them is doing it right now, spending 75% on ssh. SSH connections cannot be established. The other is doing fine since the last reboot (approx. 2-3 days ago). I say scrap the whole development done recently and go back to the branch before h...

Re: 6.24 released

Ok, 6.24 basically s*c*** big time. I still have not installed my out of band link to the 433 whose ether2 interface (used as wan) stopped working twice in about 5 days) but now... I can also confirm 3x rb2011's that lost ssh connectivity for some reason some time after the upgrade to 6.24. They are...

Re: 6.24 released

Routerboard 433 has weird issues since upgrading to 6.24 (was flawless for around 2-3 years). After 1-2 days the WAN (ether2) interface seems to lock up. Rebooting the RB fixes it for a couple of days. Rebooting the Allied Telesis Multiservice Gateway does not fix the issue. Could you tell which Ro...
