Re: Site to Site EOIP with Local Internet Access Problem

hello maknz, did you mean you put ipsec over eoip? or you use either eoip or ipsec tunnel? hmm... maybe the ipsec tunnel being the problem? have you speed test direct internet for both sites? Heya wiseroute, have had the tunnel running for 2 years and it's fine. It's just getting remote clients on ...

Re: Site to Site EOIP with Local Internet Access Problem

The root cause of your issue is most likely a broken PMTUD (Path MTU Discovery) on the path between your router(s) and those servers in the internet. The MTU of a bridge always gets automatically adjusted to the one of that member port of the bridge whose MTU is the lowest, to prevent the router it...

Each sites internet connection is 1GB/1GB however i've never been able to get more than about 180mb/sec variable throughput between the sites which at peak times causes a bott...

Redirect remote EOIP sites internet traffic

Hi Tiksters, Is there a way to get a remote sites clients that are connected to an EOIP tunnel to our main site to access their http/s browser traffic via their local routers internet connection rather than that traffic having to go through the tunnel and back? This way lowering throughput in the tu...

Remote CAP clients connected via EOIP/IPSEC access remote internet connection

Re: Subnet Isolation Problem

Ok, some success :) I didn't bother trying to ping a device on the other subnet earlier, so cool yes it's blocking comms between addresses on the different subnets. I tried that input filter rule but I can still ping the gateway?

Re: Subnet Isolation Problem

Sorry I mean't I used the gui and command line to create the firewall rules.

I'm pinging the other subnets gateway address on ether4 from a laptop plugged into ether3.

I shouldn't be able to do that right?

Re: Subnet Isolation Problem

Hi Caci99, Thanks for the reply. Yeah I tried that and still no luck, used command line and then the gui in Winbox and still the connection continues to ping away happily between subnets. Below is my complete config. Baffled still :( ############ [admin@MikroTik] > export # jan/02/1970 00:26:57 by R...
