Re: VPN problem with Dual-Wan Load-Balancing Setup

i have a same problem cant ping local devices both but vpn tunnel connected well. You have to add an accept mangle rule for remote vpn ip (at the top of mangle rules). For example if your subnet is 192.168.1.0/24, vpn local address = 192.168.1.100, vpn remote address=192.168.1.101 You have to add t...

Re: How do I setup Dual WAN and Web Filtering?

Try src-address as your pcc classifier , hopefully it will solve few issues at your end :) Failover doesn' with the script you are using if you pull out WAN cable (which is conencted from your WAN device to ISP). Re: OpenVPN Speed.

I have a similar problem using pptp and connecting windows vpn clients.
Even though I have 5Mbps of upload speed on the mikrotik internet link, the vpn user side just reach 2Mbps of download.
Wondering what wrong should I be doing?

Re: Mikrotik DNS consumes 100% of CPU

Same problem on my RB751G-2HnD. Profile shows 80% usage on DNS. Disallowing remote requests helps, but it not solution for this problem. I created packet filter rule, that drops DNS requests (UDP traffic on port 53) from all but local subnet (192.168.0.0/24). CPU usage drops from 70-80% to 3-4%, an...
