Re: RBM33G with LTE, LoRa and GPS

LtAP has the single USB3.0 port routed to the miniPCIe slot, so only USB2.0 is available at the external USB connector; on RBM33G, the USB3.0 is only available at the external connector, not on any of the miniPCIe slots (nor the M.2 one).

In which case I need USB routed to the miniPCIe ?

Thank you for the Information. Good to know.

I never use PPoE with my MT Devices as my ISP provide cable network (DOCSIS).

As mentioned until now I never face any issues with VLAN Switch on HAP AC2. May be because I use them mainly as CAP and rarely as switch in some edge cases.

Umarcus , wireless throughput strongly depends on client wireless interface (1chain/2chain/3chain/etc.). hAP AC and modern macbook may reach ~600-700Mbps, hAP AC to hAP AC ~700Mbps of _real_ throughput. Ok. May be it also depend on the CAPsMAN configuration ? If yes what are the most limit factor ?...

Re: Firewall - Layer7 - Regular Expression

Sorry for beeing late ..

Escape yould be

'teste.com.br\/servicos.html'

May be you could replace it with a expression which says 'any character for once' like '.{1}'

'teste.com.br.{1}servicos.html'

Feature Request : L2TP Connection / Packet Mark

Please add functionality to enter Connection or Packet Mark in L2TP Client Profiles, because currently there is no way to Mangle different L2TP Client connections ('Dial Out Routing').

Thanks,

Regarding Bonding : I use only Mikroikt Routers to accomplish that. Currently i bond 4 DSL Lines. First you need an external Point as Gateway which able to provide your expected maximal Bandwitdh. Therfore I installed a Mikrotik Router in a Datacenter which provide Colocation. Next you connect tunne...

Re: Let me understand this PCC thing....

Yes, that's right. To minimize worst szenario use more fileds from header to get higher variation of the hash value. Other possible load balancing strategy are NTH, Bandtwidth Based to SUM Bandwidth you need either support from your ISP for Bonding Protocol or an external Router / VM in a DataCenter...

About release strategy: From my point of view short term support are no great advantage in face of effort for mikrotik to handle it. Maybe another practicable path is : Define a feature milestone package, if all features implemented than make a feature freeze of this release and provide LTS. Than go...

Re: Optimize WLAN Bridge as Low Latency connection for DSL Bonding

Bandwidth is small, 3 or 2 MBit per DSL Line (currently no more available in my village :( ). Actual 3 + 3 + 2 Mbit bonded via L2TP Tunnels, result in ~7.5Mbit throughput.

Per WLAN an additional 2 Mbit Line shall be integrated.

Re: Optimize WLAN Bridge as Low Latency connection for DSL Bonding

Yes thats right, properly tuned, that's why i'm asking :-)

Much more ? Please keep in mind 1ms or 2ms are 10%-20% from 10ms, a stable 1ms connection is ok, recently i try a 2.4GHz TP Link / OpenWRT setup, result was it is not stable, i get latency between 2ms to 10ms.

Many thanks for your response.

I will give the SXT5 a try, because the 2.4GHz is heavy used in the hood.

Did you expect some problems because the distance is to near, i have read that this could be a problem for station who are designed to bridge km's ?

If the hosting provider gives the keyboard and mouse connections from their own IP-kvm, then you don't need to network attach the Pi - just connect their kvm cables and a serial cable to the console of the 2011. (If Pi doesn't have serial, I'm sure there's a similar tiny-board PC that will) Ah, you...
