If you disable fasttrack rule all works fine.

Why so? I have the hAP ac at home as my access point. In our country, we get speeds 100-500Mbit at home, so even just for an AP you need power. I also have a few devices with no WiFi, so the extra ports help.

Does SMS need a serial interface like AT commands do? If this is the case, you probably can't send a SMS with the LTE interface.
Can you send a SMS by disabling DirectIP and connecting via PPP interface?
