Re: v6.45.2 [stable] is released!

Nice to see I am not the only one with the SFP problems on RB4100. But there is not even an attempt to fix the VPN issues everyone is still having, there was never a clear way to fix that in the v6.45.1 thread, and MT needs to have those settings in the Quick Set "VPN Access" checkbox setup, because...

VPN Connection Block IP

Hello, I have been looking at my RADIUS Log and I see a lot of TEST user login tries, I would never have a user named test open so I want to have a VPN profile that when a user named TEST that it would have a time out of 00:00:00 and run a script that adds the IP to a block list I have prerouting ru...

Re: RB4011

So far the RB4011iGS+RM has been a great replacement for routing from my CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN, I still us the CRS125 as a switch, but wireless is disabled since I use a wAP AC in the middle of my house. I did notice that the RB4011 gets warm even when its not doing anything, I had mine plugged in b...

Re: v6.43.1 [stable] is released!

I am still seeing high memory use on my CRS125-24G-1s-2HnD, I did see before doing a routerboard update the use down to 33MiB but after its up to 54MiB much better than the 102MiB. I will have to watch the graph and see if it rises over time like I was seeing in 6.43. Looking forward to just using t...

Re: v6.43 [current] is released!

I have now noticed that my CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD is running out of memory, with 6.43.7 it ran around 95MB of free memory, with 6.43 it was down to 34MB free, over night it is now down to 31MB free. Good thing it don't have too much traffic going though this as multiple people are reporting reboots. Att...

Re: v6.43 [current] is released!

Found 2 things. First my RouterBOARD wAP G-5HacT2HnD (US Version I think), I have been able to login with MAC SSH though from another device in winbox. But on the same network, using Winbox 3.17 I am unable to login (wrong username or password) using the IP or MAC. I have not tried to reset the pass...

Re: wAP ac overheating?Crashing

Sounds like heat isn't the only problem, my wAP AC is in my house now running at 71C in a room that is 29C. But that is with little load. Mikrotik says it "Tested ambient temperature: -40 to +50C". I have had mine for just under a year this month, only having some though put download problems that a...

Re: New : RB760IGS - HEX-S

Can't wait to see this at suppliers! These would be great for setting up small office or home networks combined with a cAP AC or wAP AC powered from Eth5 and one cable for less than $175USD is great. Charge $300 for a quality centrally located installed WiFi would be good sales opportunity. Also Mik...

Re: v6.43rc [release candidate] is released!

I have been trying to get better Transmit speeds on our cAP AC's, the v6.43rc17 dose not improve anything, or stabilize the connection. When doing a speed test I should see 200+Mbps U/D but only getting 12-25Mbps Download and 120-160Mbps Upload. When looking at the TX Rate of in Wireless Registratio...

Re: CAP ac bad Antenna design?

Just updated to 6.42.1 on my set of cAP AC (RouterBOARD cAP Gi-5acD2nD), did a speed test from my Google Pixel 2XL, 92 Mbps Down / 272 Mbps Up, tested on a wired connection to the same site 393.9 Mbps Down / 368 Mbps Up. The Transmit side of the hardware should be great considering its a fixed devic...

Re: Btest.exe

If btest is "old software" dose this mean we can expect to see iperf3 as a tool in the next update to RouterOS? (6.43)

Re: [Solved] mAP2n upgrade 6.24 -> 6.25

Talked with a friend who runs a bunch of MikroTik wireless systems, and I was trying to run the Netinstall connected to Eth2, once connected to Eth1 it worked. Now mine is running ROS 6.25 and working great.

Re: [Solved] mAP2n upgrade 6.24 -> 6.25

I just got one of these in last night and did the upgrade from the web interface now it will not boot, all the LEDs light up but PoE. I tried to do the netinstall, when holding down the button for ~15 seconds the LEDs change and AP, USR, and PoE turn off for about 10 seconds then the others flash of...
