*) branding - allow forcing configuration script as default configuration (new branding packet required);
How do we take advantage of this? Looking in ROS and haven't been able to find anything and I've also looked at the branding manager and couldn't see anything.

Thanks.

Re: Mikrotik VDSL / DSL Modem?

There is some mention of a configuration program (probably only for Windows), but not how it accesses the module. I think the "EBM program" is the same as "Ethernet Boot and Management" mentioned further down in the spec sheet. I wonder if it's simply accessible via a default IP...

Re: feature request: DOCSIS Provisioning via DHCP

Yes we are using the Mikrotik as DHCP and TFTP server. We are running it on a x86 platform with plenty of processing power and storage space. We like to keep our setup fairly compact. Re: feature request: DOCSIS Provisioning via DHCP

It sounds like you are using the Mikrotik as a DHCP Server and possible the TFTP Server? If so, could you not do a DHCP Relay setup to a Linux (or something else) based DHCP Server that handles the requests? This would give you a more feature rich implementation.

Re: RouterOS 6.15 and x86 XenServer

All that is needed is a VM option on XenServer... xe vm-param-set uuid=... platform:viridian=false The viridian extensions are Microsoft extensions required for Windows 8 support and are enable by default. There is a problem in the detection logic in newer kernels (like in RHEL 6.4). The logic comes...
