So, what is an idea behind setting two bgp peers with views?
Prefix length is not something about bgp route selection process.
If you keep ISP2 for failover purposes keep default route only and filter out all other prefixes, or ask peer to announce default only.

Dont have kvm knowledge, but i can definitely say that communication between hosts on the same subnet does not involve routing (and router).

Here, i presume, you are talking about high grade stacks, that can be maintained without downtimes.

Of course you can, but it does not have much sence. You already announce your /23 to the world.
You can stick /24 to another router in your intranet.

Tested both Martini and Kompella between Jun, cisco and Mikrotik some months ago and it worked fine.

Try
 /ip route print where "address_you_ping_here" in dst-address
on your bgp router.
May be your ISP, for some reasons, dont have prefixes you are looking for.
All prefix lengths are legit on Full View, but most ISPs drop longer then 24.

Basicly it is ok to have two default routes in network but may depend on your security devices. Anyway you can originate em with different metrics.
I would set /22 to static on border routers to prevent prefix dumpening on internet.

Yes, you can have area-range on wan ABR to summarize 185.X.Y.0/22 and split it to your routers in this area.

I dont know what your final goal is, but i would not mess with areas until some specific circumstances. It is pretty ok to have hundred routers and thousand routes in area 0.

Hey!

Ospf is link state protocol and it operates link states not prefixes. Route filtering applies to ospf to RIB communication.
Convert your wan area to nssa, and set nssa no-summary on ABR - you will get nssa routes in backbone, and 0/0 in nssa area.

Hey, Mikrotik team!

Please extend "netwatch" funtionality a little bit. It is a nice feature, but so undeveloped.
It will be nice to have an option to set amount of ping to send before change status to down and at its frequency.

Finally i have found what the problem was. My bad and sory for that! :oops:
I have short vdsl2 line between ISP and router and after changing out wall cable all connectivity problems gone.

RB951G-2HnD Packet loss

Hey! After last updates (6.27 and may be some earlier) i found, that my RB951G-2HnD is getting PPPoE session disconnect. I blamed my ISP, but tech support did not found any issues on their line. So i changed ISP to the new one without PPPoE auth and found that router is also loosing some packets tim...
