I'm also interested in NbaseT products :) Precisely, I would be interested in a product with this kind of specs : a small L2 switch 8 to 12 ethernet ports 2.5G fan-less maybe with a simple wireless card dual boot (RouterOS or SwOS) price ~150$ So, something like a " CRS308-8G+2HnD-IN " (if...

I would appreciate a lot a Wireguard implementation in RouterOS :) The advantages that I see for my usage are : it has a simplier VPN configuration it should be faster than OpenVPN (in a single connection setup, where OpenVPN is mono-thread, I'm talking about the other endpoint which is on a Linux f...

You probably need a model from the CCR range.
But you need to precise your need : which physical ports needed ? what bandwidth to process ? which type of filtering rules ?

Re: Performance issues with RB2011UIAS-RM and RB3011UIAS-RM

We have our own network and serve around 50 customers, all customers have their own routers. So the PPPoE on our Mikrotik is from us to our customers routers. We noticed our customers are not able to reach over 150Mbps, so I have setup a test one with one account on it direct into our 1GB line, and...

In PPP on the Mikrotik, MTU on the PPPoE account it 1492, and my laptop is set to 1492.
You are using PPPoE between your laptop and the Mikrotik router ?
Isn't PPPoE between the router and your ISP ?

Maybe something like this : - one hEX PoE : you connect the ethernet (or fiber in the future, with the SFP) from the rest of the network, and it does the routing - and two or three mANT (15s or 19s) : "just" serving as AP (no routing), and powered by POE by the hEX This means : 3 devices t...

Maybe it has something to do with multiple hardware revisions of the SXT 5HPnD.

For example (i'm just thinking, i've no info about that) :
You got one unit with r2 and the other one with r3. And each revision has a specific firmware, and each firmware has its own versions.

After reading (quickly) your request, I would say : hAP ac.
And you keep your switch.

This device fills your current need, has very good wifi (2.4 and 5Ghz), and will support an "optical" connection (100-300 Mbits) in the future, for ~120$.
