Re: remove double nat

Use static routing and route all traffic to your main router and do the nat there.

Re: block rogue dhcp traffic

No one mentioned the bridge filter. Its more effective in blocking l2. Create a bridge with what ever port you want to filter on.

Create the filter on input and forward chain.

How do I combine two separate networks from two different ISP?

I want to create a common path between two isps so that data from ISP 1's LAN can flow to and from ISP 2's LAN.

Re: CCR1036-12G-4S can not resolve name and reports "could not get answer from dns server".

Hi all, I have encountered a strange DNS problem with name resolving on my CCR1036-12G-4S. It has worked correctly for several days until yesterday morning without config change. Changing DNS server setting or rebooting system can not make it right. Here is the configuration and error messages. [ri...

Re: Newbie...Help Clarify

Well, thanks. Even though no replies...gone past that! :D Another situation: This is our setup: 1. RouterOS on x86 (our main router). Ether1 port is connected to WAN (Internet). Re: Re:

@capprentice: The device is cold. As workaround I can test a schedule-service to delete the DNS cache. I would say that the router has forgotten the dns server obtained in dhcp message from server. It is a bug I reported during the times to mikrotik several times and they solved it and then broke i...

Re: Cloud Hosted Router

As it currently stands, this "Cloud Hosted Router" is really more like "RouterOS VM Edition".
Well yes, for now :)
Support for Amazon or other services is planned.

What purpose it will serve if hosted in Cloud? Will it be used for VPN or as NTP server? :?

Re: mikrotik RB750Gr2 as local DNS-Server are unstable?

Hello there, I have a RB750GR2. I am very satisfied with the device. The router has a fixed IP address on the WAN side (no DHCP client) and on the LAN side also only fixed IP addresses (no DHCP server) Only one problem I could not solve: The client PC's use the Mikrotik router as a DNS server. That...

How do I set when does the MAC addresses in arp cache refreshes?

Having this strange issue where the MACs does not expire even when the client to whom the MAC belongs to disconnects. Its a CCR 1036 Model.

The bridge priority is set to 1000.
