Can this be done with internal variables already built into routeros, or do I have to write a script to handle everything? Thanks. Any luc...

Send email when failover link is active

I have a CCR setup with dual wan failover like in this link: http://www.jpudasaini.com.np/2013/05/simple-failover-mikrotik.html Both connections are DHCP clients to the different ISPs. It works well but I would like to get an email when the secondary link becomes active. Re: Mikrotik 3G as Bridge to Router?

Thanks. This gives me something to think about. Unfortunately I cannot get I static ip for my LTE connection so I'll need something a bit different.

Re: Mikrotik 3G as Bridge to Router?

I'm interested in trying this setup as well. Most likely using an LTE interface on the Router Board with the modem attached. Any advice on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

Help with VLAN trunk and access ports on CRS.

Just starting out on RouterOS and I am not sure of how to do a vlan trunk and access ports on a CRS-226-24G-2S+RM. I'd like to have SFP-1 be the trunk with vlans 100, 200, 300, and 400, then have other ports setup as access ports for these vlans. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
