Your original post is confusing. Your best bet is to run PPPoE. PPTP will give you more overhead and higher latency.

ummm you mean clients? i have tested 20 and it works ok but slightly reduced speed... cca 5MB/s (arround 40mbps)

Net is slow as shit, and nobody is downloading...
What would you do in this case? Or how did you setup you bandwidth sharing/limiting?

ummm all user have dafault gateway pointed to my MT box as Gateway... is this ok?

for gamers you can crete PPTP tunnel that will give them address they wish for. like game subnet... everyone dials in PPTP and plays game there

i think same goes for Valve products like halflife and counterstrike

hi! A have several Micronet aps... I have noticed simular problem.
When I connect with Mikrotik (with Atheros Card) in client mode all work's fine and when i try Station WDS with Mikrotik then Micronet stops responding until I reboot it!
Maybe Micronet software problem!?!

Whats is set for band? is it turbo? am... confused right now... Yes, there is : 2.4GHz-G-turbo activated but on other side i get only 54Mbps?!
