Re: Power issue in HARDWARE RB411 / RB433 and probably RB433AH

Ok. It's not really a big problem for us right now, since every single RB4xx card we've used is on battery backup.

Two questions though:

1. Will this issue have any impact on the lifetime of these routerboards?
2. Is the problem fixed on newer revisions of these boards?

Regards
Marius.

Re: Wireless access-list bandwidth problem

Problem still confirmed on ROS 3.10 AP, is there any way to limit the client activities beside the access-list? The access point is in bridge mode, so the simple queues doesn't seem to work. The traffic shaping has to be done at the AP.

As far as I know, nstreme only works between nstreme-capable devices.

Wireless access-list bandwidth problem

Hello! Upgraded all of our access points to RouterOS 3.4 about one week ago. After a couple of days we began to get complaints about randomly occuring high ping times. After some research I found out that it was the access-list (with per client bandwidth control), that was the source of the problem....

Re: ROS 3.xx and RB100 series

I also have a client (RB112, ROS3.4) that is at 50-100% cpu all the time, with only about 1mbit/s throughput, is this normal?

Re: RB133C keeps loosing configuration data [SOLVED]

Thanks! I opened up the integrated antennas (two RIC522C's) and actually found that the reset jumper was shorted, I had never opened these two before, so it puzzles me that the antenna was sold with the jumper shorted. The antennas had been in use by two different customers for about 1/2 year, they ...

Re: bug:upnp can't work after reboot

I have the same problem with Routeros 3.4 on RB532. UPNP service doesn't work after rebooting the router. Disabling and enabling the service again in UPNP settings makes it work again.

RB133C keeps loosing configuration data [SOLVED]

Hi! I've got a bit of a bizarre problem here. I've upgraded a RB133C3 from an older RouterOS to 2.9.51. After uprading the client looses configuration data after each reboot. I upgraded firmware and updated to 3.4 without any result. The client keeps loosing its configuration upon reboot. What can t...

Re: is is safe to upgrade from 2.9.51 to 3.4 yet?

I have about 80 RB112 and RB532s in a production environment, I'm also wondering when it's safe to update to 3.x series RouterOS? And also, should I upgrade all to the newest 2.9.x version first? EDIT: Have upgraded about 50 of them to 3.4, no problems encountered except this when upgrading to 2.9.5...

Hehe, I should get a copy of one of those funny scripts, right now I'm just folding my hands and hoping that the routers will make it through the night when set to cpu-mode regular. Update 19:45: I'm using the bandwidth tool to make the it send constantly at 19mbps to generate as much heat as possib...

Thank you! They were all set to cpu-mode power save and I just put all of them to regular, i'll report back on how this goes. (In 2.9.39 this setting is located here: system routerboard settings) Is there any reason why I shouldn't put all the mikrotik's we buy in cpu-mode regular, except for the fa...

RIC522E Cold temperature problem!

Hello! I've been using 8 RIC522E's in 4 ptp links of various distances. The last night the temperature dropped below -30C, and two of the RIC522E's stopped responding (at two different places, two different links). This happened around midnight last night. The routers started working again 1130 this...
