VRF-Lite + UPnP?

The VRF-Lite configuration uses mangle to handle incoming packets. This works for connections established from the internal side. UPnP will dynamically create NAT rules when used from with a VRF, but a matching mangle rule is also required. Is there a way to automatically create/update/remove these ...

Interface advertise value

[admin@Mikrotik] /interface ethernet> set 0 advertise=

Advertise ::= 10M-half|10M-full|100M-half|100M-full|1000M-half|1000M-full|2500M-full|5000M-full|10000M-full[,Advertise*]

What is [,Advertise*] referring to? I cannot find a syntax that works here.

Re: Feature requests - SNMP OID Ethernet link speed

Feature requests - SNMP OID Ethernet link speed It would be great to have SNMP OIDs for Ethernet link speeds. (if they are there , I have not spotted them yet). These could be very useful to detect when an Ethernet link changes link speed. Such as when what is/was supposed to be a 1-Gig link change...

Re: Mac-telnet for linux

I do not have a working implementation; I have only hacked enough together to test what I thought I was seeing in my packet captures and haven't had time to work on it since.

I have posted a write up of what I have found here: http://www.omniflux.com/devel/

Re: Mac-telnet for linux

It is exactly the same. I was just missing the leading null character in the string I was calculating the md5 value for.

Thanks, Chupaka.

Re: Mac-telnet for linux

I did some work time ago, basically the authentication part only. Does this mean you know how to encode the password for the client to send to the server? I can parse and generate everything else required to establish a session and send keystrokes / display output, but I do not know the algorithm t...

Re: Obtain wireless card MAC address OK on 2.9 but fails on 3.1

The following should work for RouterOS 2.9+ (I tested it...it does not work on 2.8 though)
$MAC = `ssh admin\@192.168.0.1 ':put [interface wireless get wlan1 mac-address]'`;

Radio disables itself

Running 2.8.26 on an RB230 with two NL2511CD-Ext2 (802.11b Prism 200mW) and an RB44 (4 Port Ethernet Card /w auto MDI/X). One radio (in slot A) disables itself after running for awhile. Initially it did so after 10 mintues to an hour. After switching the PCMCIA radios in slots A and B, everything wo...

I have also seen this problem on multiple rb230s. I no longer upgrade the units remotely, but wait until I can be onsite, which really sucks.
