Re: 6.33 version released!

My CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD (mipsbe) is currently running RouterOS v6.30.1. When I try to use the "Check For Upgrades" option it returns "Could not resolve address upgrade.mikrotik.com". The DNS servers are configured to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4. What should I do to solve this?

Max speed WAN not 500 mbps, but drops to 183 mbps

I am using a new Mikrotik CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD router. It is connected to a 500/500 mbps down/up fiber Experia V9 box. When connection my laptop directly on Experia LAN port 2, I get 508/512 mbps down/up as it should be. But When I then connect the laptop via my port 10 on the Mikrotik, and connect th...

Re: PC on bridged modem is 120 mbps download; via CRS router it drops to 30-50 mbps

Another major discovery today. Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.17498 and Firefox 38.0.1 both constantly tested via speedtest.net at 12up/128down Mbps, while Google Chrome version 43.0.2357.65 m consistently performs poor at 12up/60-90down Mbps. Do others have the same experience? Please let us know to f...

Re: Slow speeds when setting CRS125 ports to Gig

I had the same problem. I applied your command line and my cable speed went up from 12up/50down Mbps to 12up/112down Mbps as it should be. Thanks, this article helped.

Re: PC on bridged modem is 120 mbps download; via CRS router it drops to 30-50 mbps

Not sure why, but the following command may have done the trick, it seems: /queue interface set [find] queue=ethernet-default My connection has jumped to 12up/112down mbps on a cable link. It's evening now, so I hope the connection will be even better when nobody's online in the neighbourhood. Note:...

PC on bridged modem is 120 mbps download; via CRS router it drops to 30-50 mbps

Hi All, I am using a bridged cable modem from my ISP which is capable of doing 120 mbps down and 12 mbps up. Used speedtest.net to test it with my laptop which has a 1 Gbps network port. I got the dowload speed as expected; even 122 mbps according to my test. Awesome result. When I connect the lapto...
