You should buy mAP-2nD, an upgraded version with 802.3af support on both ports (ether1 for receiving power, ether2 — for powering other devices).

Nowhere to proof it have jumped over 32-bit counter (cmon, MikroTik, you're trying to fix that almost for 10 years :)), but that last link up time from the future... :)
121 days + 497 days of counter limit = 618 days as for now.

No, I'm from "posting right when I saw" one.
Besides, I've answered there's no other differences on the second post, where I got home and turned it on.

I think it's better to give some freedom to users via some "button"-assignment menu, just like you can assign different statuses for different LEDs. Maybe this is what MikroTik is already doing, if you can remember some unusable MODE buttons on new boards. :)

Re: When will be RB3011UiAS-2HnD-IN available?

Of course, I can buy RM version, but the case is too long, and it's inconvenient to buy additional parts from different sellers to set up Wi-Fi.
By the way, you can't. It's impossible to add WiFi to rackmount version because of missing PCI-e.

Re: 6.31 released

I'm missing nothing. If I'm on 6.31 and set it to "bugfix only", it should NOT download 6.30.2 (we are in the upgrade menu, not downgrad). It should download bugfix updates of the CURRENT INSTALLED release, that would be 6.31.1. So since this version is not available, it shouldn't download anything...

I can advice you to wait for RB3011. Or hAP ac, if you need a faster WiFi too, but it have a slower processor.

it will be cleaned up in a future release, but maybe not in 6.30.x .
Why not? It's not a really complex problem. But it's MikroTik choice anyways — to remove it, or not.

Not only these rules are mess for some people (including me), they are just cannot be deleted! Considering everything (obviously excluding some deep system things) in ROS can be set up by us, this is a step backwards. I can understand these rules if they were unique. But they are just showing the sa...

Had an config-reset on 951G an year ago after power loss, and a "bricked" (I had to use NetInstall to revive it) mAP 2n after many losses in a couple of seconds (bad quality of power-jack used to power). After this all I'm trying to use a shutdown command every time I can. :)

For downloading any firmware, copy link for current one and just change version number in the link by yourself.

You shouldn't lose any configuration, but, of course, it's better to do backup and an export of configuration.

A. Long time to be detected by WinBox Mine is not... B. No access from Winbox to mAP with default config - via IP and via MAC Then how did you manage to set up it?.. Never seen that too, though. And the biggest problem: G. Backup files vanish after reboot so there is no possibility to make backups....
