Re: AW: New hardware - mAP

When connected to USB is it able to power a sxt with poe? Unfortunately not (I've just tried this). I knew it would be a long shot (and would probably exceed the current that USB can put out) but just wanted to try it anyway. However, the "PoE out" LED still comes on when powering from USB. MikroTi...

Re: SXT LTE Kit (RBSXTR) lte1 Disappearing

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I'll try this solution next time we deploy one of these.
Cheers!

Re: how to define gmail in E-mail setting?

FYI if anyone else is having these issues, nowadays you have to set your gmail account to "Allow Less Secure Apps" to ON.

Re: LDP Neighbor - No Addresses shown

If someone else has some issues getting LDP/MPLS/VPLS established, PLEASE let me know. I am defiantly not the forefront expert but I may be able to provide some help.
I too would be interested in seeing these filters. Cheers!

Re: CCR - Secondary PSU

18V to 24V should be the correct value at least for CCR1036 as they are quite demanding regarding power. Hi, Do you have an accurate voltage tolerance of the CCR1036 input? I'm looking to remove the internal PSU and power directly with DC. I've read a few different values on this topic, so would li...

Re: CRS317 Crashing v6.43

SOLVED: This issue has now been resolved in v6.43.4 "bridge - fixed possible memory leak when VLAN filtering is used". After several very helpful support emails from MikroTik, I was made aware of a memory leak, resulting in the "Free Memory" under Resources getting lower and lower until the CPU woul...

Re: Block VPN connection when failed to get valid proposal

Thanks for the info KitMikro; this works for me too. Below is what I used; handy for those people who don't use ipsec at all: /ip firewall filter add chain=input protocol=udp dst-port=500,4500 in-interface=WAN action=drop Pretty blunt code just to drop anything trying to come in on those ports. I ca...

Re: CRS317 Crashing v6.43

Thanks for your comment - very interesting to learn that someone else with an ARM CPU is seeing a similar/same result.

I've just spoken with our supplier and we're going to RMA the unit - I'll be sure to post if the replacement still has the same problem.

CRS317 Crashing v6.43

Hi all, We have a CRS317 that we've recently put into our NOC. I jumped the gun a little as we needed to get it in, so I initially set it up with v6.43rc66. However, I noticed that the system was crashing; usually about every 36 hours or so. The other night I went to site (as it had crashed again) a...

Hotspot Issue - Login Page not Working (not even by IP)

Hi all, Got an issue which has got me completely stumped. We've setup a MikroTik hotspot, with an Ubiquiti UniFi providing wireless connectivity (UniFi is essentially bridging VLANs 50 and 60 to the clients). No matter what I try, I cannot get a login page to show up - even when typing 10.0.0.1 I ca...

SXT LTE Kit (RBSXTR) lte1 Disappearing

Hi all, We've just purchased an RBSXTR for trialing; first one in the country as far as I'm aware, and our supplier is trying to replicate this issue. We have a test SIM with a local LTE provider that works well in an SXT-LTE. However, when putting that same SIM into the RBSXTR with the same config,...

MikroTik Big Button =D

Hey all, I won a cAP AC at our NZ MUM yesterday, and instantly knew what I wanted to do with it. At home I have a guest network, which currently I need to manually enable and disable when I have friends over (I run it unsecured). I've been wanting to hook up an Arduino or something with a switch to ...

Multiple PPPoE Clinets with One Router

Hi all, I think I've asked this before and gotten nowhere. We want to be able to have multiple PPPoE clients on one central router; this allows the clients to run on a Layer 2 service back to the MikroTik and all of the routing is managed on one central router. I believe Mangle rules are involved bu...

Hi,

Sorry I haven't used these as of yet so can't comment on your question. But I just wanted to know, did you work out the cause or a solution for this?

Thanks!

Re: RBFTC11

I too would like to add +1 for an area for splices as this would be a perfect candidate for FTTH builds - meaning that the duct comes out of the ground and straight to the FTC with no external splice tray daisy-chained in the middle. Would also love to see a similar model with a basic router built i...

Dual LAN with Separate PPPoE

Hi all, I'm not entirely sure the best way to explain this, but I'm trying to do something similar to this guy: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=68651 The below image should help: m1.png What I need is two separate PPPoE connections going down the same physical WAN. From here I need a separ...

Hotspot Won't Load login.html

Hi, I've got a hotspot set up that is having an odd issue. Normally you'd connect via WiFi and then type a website (such as www.google.com) and it would automatically redirect to the login.html page (this is on PC and not phone). I've updated the login.html page as per my customer's specifications a...
