Please change the firewall rule from 8921 to 8291. Alternatively change the Winbox service port to 8921 in IP/Services and leave your current firewall rule.

Re: v6.42.1 [current]

I'm not sure if this issue happened after upgrading to v6.42.1, but on my hAP ac^2 the write-sect-since-reboot and the write-sect-total is missing in Winbox v3.13 / System Resources screen. /system resource print shows the values. Routerboard firmware is v6.42.1

I can confirm that by upgrading Routerboard (RouterBOOT) firmware to v6.42rc52, the issue reported here is gone, I can see again full amount of memory. /system resources print reports total-memory: 233.2MiB So conclusion is that there are units with more than 128 MB RAM and you need either v3.43 or ...

Re: hAP ac² - more RAM than in HW specification [SOLVED]

I made a test on my unit which runs now v6.42rc46 with firmware 3.43 in order to be able to determine that it really has physically more than 128 MB of memory. I set in Packet Sniffer Memory Limit to 128000 kb, and disabled Memory Scroll, and then started to capture traffic on all interfaces while g...

Hi All,

After RouterBOOT firmware upgrade to 6.42rc46 the system resources shows correct amount of memory. I asked for a statement from MikroTik if they limit by intention the memory despite the unit has physically more memory, or was it a software bug.

No. This just means your router was manufactured before this feature was added.

Re: Is Mikrotik's Road Warrior L2TP/IPsec a Pipe Dream?

I had/have similar issue, described here . Only workaround I find is that you need to add always manually the outgoing policy. (which is very inconvenient in case of roadwarriors) I was also in contact with Mikrotik support (ticket number is Ticket#2015061266000262), where they stated in case both c...
