Re: iPhone tethering to Mikrotik?

Yes, just like any other wireless connection. Router must be in wireless "Station" mode
Ok. Thank you.

Was trying today but must have been doing something wrong.

More use to sharing a wired connection wirelessly than the other way around.

Re: iPhone tethering to Mikrotik?

Is possible to connect to an iPad wireless hotspot and share that connection over the LAN.

If so, are there any gotcha steps?

order of export

I have 2 Hap AC. Same routerOS version.

/interface wireless export orders the output differently between them.

Why?

Re: Woobm-USB How Much Can It Do?

I've just ordered one of the RS ones. Will give it a go and report back. I'm quietly confident it will work. From cable specs... http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Documents/DataSheets/Cables/DS_USBNMC.pdf Based on back to back FTDI FT232RQ devices. From Mikrotik wiki... https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki...

Re: Woobm-USB How Much Can It Do?

Exactly.. Need to use a Null-Modem (F-F) serial cable. Same as if you were connecting two Mikrotik routers with serial ports together.

So something like this...

Re: Woobm-USB How Much Can It Do?

yes, RouterOS has supported USB-Serial adapters for quite some time.
How would you connect PC(usb) to Mikrotik(usb) to have console? What type of cable? It's like two usb-serial cables back to back.

Re: Newsletter 78 with 1GBPS WIRELESS PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Please contact your favourite distributor and place an order, they will be able to allocate a unit as soon as they receive their stock. They are already placing orders now.
Will/are they certified for Australia?

Re: Question about Home&Office hardware with AC support

In marketing terms how does the hAP AC compare to D-links etc?

I mean in terms of AC1900, AC3200 and so on.
The hAP AC is a 2 chain 2.4 Ghz and 3 chain 5 GHz router, so 2 x 150 + 3 x 433.3 = 1600 which would be AC1600
Or AC1750?
