Re: SXT LTE6 kit + DualSIM + Dual Port [SOLVED]

Hi, SXT as only one LTE miniPCIe card, so you can only use one ISP. The dual SIM slot is probably to switch between both SIM cards but you can't use both at same time by hardware limitation.

With RBM33G you can do it, because have 3 Ethernet ports and 2 miniPCIe slots.

Re: Problems with mikrotik hAP ac and røde wireless go

It is normal. Most probably is that your Rode wireless system works with a propietary protocol (not Wi-Fi) and how it works at same frequency, it makes interference. You need to choose the higher channel on your AP and with this probably the problem can be solved.

Between wAP and LtAP, I prefer LtAP because is easy replace the internal antenna for an external one.

LtAP probably can use 2 modems (pci-e + usb) instead only one of wAP.

To get it work, SIM card needs to be inserted on slot number 3. U.FL pigtails with antennas are only necessary to get connection with the cell tower.

Insert the SIM card with LTE interface disabled and when you are done, enable it again.

Re: [Help] Mikrotik CAPsMAN Wireless download speed max 200Mb, but PC's /Mobile's link speed is 866Mbps

hello, as you said, then my case speed is 867Mbps the really speed is 867/3=289 and it's normal?
Link speed is 867Mbps but real throughput is normally around 1/3 of it.

Re: Which Mikrotik 4G/LTE products support 2 external antennas?

LTE uses MIMO (normally 2x2).

The best recommendation is use a MIMO 2x2 antenna instead 2 SISO antennas.

Take look that mANT-LTE-5o have 2 SMA connectors and any LTE module have at least 2 U.FL connectors.

The best recommendation to use external antennas is LtAP series.

Using Xshell as terminal software you will can copy all the text to save it on your computer (and later if you want, on your RouterBOARD).

Re: Groove lightning protection

Shielded cable is only to combat against air noise/interference. You need RBGESP and it needs to be connected to your electrical ground.

Now be careful with RBGESP because is not waterproof.

Re: RBLtAP-2HnD&R11e-LTE configuration issue

To use 2 SIM cards at same time you need 2 LTE modules. LtAP LTE kit only comes with 1 LTE module (back side of the board), and sure you need an additional antenna. Top side of board comes with free miniPCIe slot to install an additional LTE module of Wi-Fi module. If you enter to link of my post th...

With the hardware you are using the EC25-AF would probably be the best. Definitely recommend ufl to SMA pigtails and a good external LTE antennas. And make sure the modem firmware is updated to latest for best results. Example of "Good external LTE antennas"? PD: If you can't find U.FL to...

Paternot
Can you provide proof that chip IPQ-4018 (and other) has a 16MB flash limitation?

I use System-Packages-Check for updates-Download&install
Ok, sometimes these method that you described, fails me.

Finally you upgraded ROS version?

Re: Why Mikrotik puts only 16MB flash on many devices? (not enough space for upgrade)

Hey but if you drag and drop the NPK file into Winbox, but where says "files" (not with the window "files" opened), it should copy to RAM instead Flash. LtAP also has 16MB flash memory and with this technique I never had problems to update. Normally I have 3 MB of free space. Reg...

If you reprogram the flash, most probably you will loose your license and I not believe that Mikrotik will give to you another to re-programing the flash memory.

If Netinstall not helps, anything will not be work.

Thanks, interesting. So R11e-LTE performs better than R11e-LTE6? Is this the case for others as well? I use the internal antennas but I ordered an external one too. Any suggestions on antennas welcome. I'm not sure 100%, I only suspect it. About external antennas I use L-COM HG72710XP-065. In my si...

mAp need 802.3 af to be powered up, so with that you need 48V adapter on hex side. Ltap as mentioned in post reply, need 12-30V and can be powered with default hex adapter which is 24V oassive PoE. So no RMA, you need to change adapter on hex side Please see what says "Brochure" PDF file ...
