CRS should only be used as a switch. The CPU is not powerful enough for that kind of throughput. Either a CCR1009 or RB1000 will handle that connection just fine.

Not that you cant but not sure why you are trying to nat 5900, 3389, etc to dst port of 22. Is your dst host actually listening on 22? Can you test internal and see if there is any response on 22?

Have you tried a different incoming port? 5900 is the standard VNC port and you ISP may be blocking?

Looks like from your diagram the Mikrotik is handling the PPPoE, if so change your in-interface to the PPPoE interface not the physical interface.

guys good iniciative im curious in what scenario or topology will be an advantage 4 10g sfp ports over 2?? Stacking, less daisy chaining of switches, redundancy, etc I would love if mikrotik would have something close/better than the ubnt edge switches. but ubnt dont has 4 x sfp+ ports on any model...

Same issue here. We had 25 deployed and had to removed all the cards because of the exact same issues. They were better on 6.18 but still a unstable. We haven't tried other cards but it's either the r11e or the irq issue that the 912's have, not sure but we wont use them. No issues out of the netmet...

I wasn't talking about routing, but about default client firewalling. Windows by default doesn't accept connections from outside its defined subnet, especially on windows 7 and later. I had a similar issue with early 1009's. They would appear to freeze at power on or reboot. If you let them set like that after roughly 5 min they would finish booting. i have experienced same issue. we got first batch of 6 and one failed. no light, no fan, no activity.
I am trying to get my distributor to replace it. So far no luck. Mikrotik, have anything to say about the issue and distributors saying that this is not an issue?

Our Virtual AP's are working fine. 2 are local forwarding and 1 is capsman forwarding.

Nevermind. Fixed my issue. It had nothing to do with routeros. I completely forgot that there is a transparent content filter inline and it was blocking incoming radius packets for some reason.

Same issue on 1100ahx2. Disable and enable make it resync, or reboot. The weird thing about disabling is if you do it via console/script it doesn't work, do it via winbox and it does.

Yes it has shielded connectors(CAT6). The same type of patch cable is in use on the other sextant on the PtP. This one works well... But nevertheless I can give it a try... The NVG510 doesn't do true bridge mode like before with out a firmware mod. If your using the IP Passthrough then is gives out the wrong gateway everytime. That is also too far for passive PoE. 100ft (approx 30m) is about the max for passive.
100ft max? We have plenty of runs 150+ with a good passive poe and they work fine. If your going very far don't use the mikrotik or ubnt poe's, get a good one

Depending on firewall rules, queues, etc. A 450g, 2011, 493 can handle 15/5 without issue. If your going to have a lot of rules/queues then a 1100hx2 or ccr(bit overkill)

If you are just using 2 metals then set both them in ap mode with wds.

API Routing Mark, Connection Mark Etc.

i am working on a version of winbox for windows mobile and haven't been able to find a way to list routing mark, connection marks, etc that are currently registered with ros. hope someone can help.
