Not possible with ROS neither UBNT devices unless you change the Stock firmware with the Openwrt.. but that solution puts the device at risk you may find yourself unable to return the Stock firmware again.

Re: Simple PCQ equal bandwidth shaping Upload counting as Download ; /

I don't think you can. The simple queue works independently of queue trees. The simple queues are targeted at the user's IP address, so they're going to hit 100% of the traffic that user generates. The only way to make a simple queue miss some of a user's traffic is by sending it through a differen...

Policy Routing (UP/Down) through ISP_2 + Simple Queues with Packet Marks

Hello everyone, I'm sure this has been discussed so many times except how to deal with simple queues + packet marks added to shape the traffic instead of queue trees I have to ISP lines ISP_1: 192.168.101.1 and ISP_2: 192.168.102.1 the second ISP is dedicated for traffic based on address-list alread...

Re: Unlimited some services or dst-ip after login (hotspot)

That bypasses NAT and filter rules only and doesn't affect simple queues. It's surprisingly hard to exempt certain traffic from rate limiting when using a Hotspot. You can override the simple queues that Hotspots use for rate limiting all traffic via queue trees attached to global-in and global-out...

If you only want to queue to traffic to/from addresses in a list, then you can omit the interfaces and use only the address list. Yup it's working :) would you lead me to the next step if you don't mind because this has been discussed so many times but actually that what confused me !! just looking...

In the pre-routing chain, add a condition to the rule: in-interface=bridge-local, and change the packet mark from "all" to "upload" Then copy the rule and change the mark from "upload" to "download" and change the in-interface from bridge-local to ether1-gate...

Re: CCR router - Queuing over 500mbps, slow cpu

We experienced the similar issues while testing simple queues. This was resolved by turning on rps on the Ethernet interface to allow it to use the multiple cpu's. This may be the bottleneck you are experiencing. Hi Aron, could u please point me right to turning on the rps, where exactly this optio...

If you connect a PC directly to Ethernet 2 (temporary disable the VLAN). What speed do you get? The expected speed of your ISP? the main point as ZeroByte said maybe it's not related to vlans neither bridge settings. just looking at the configuration it's very basic nothing out of the line. the oth...

As for your speed issues, I'm not sure what might be behind this, but vlan tagging / split horizon shouldn't be slowing you down. Perhaps it's the queue type on your interfaces.[/quote] Sure just like what you said i seriously started thinking it may be something else other than dynamic simple queue...

Ok if i understand you precisely, so in principle this way of doing the host isolation could affect the traffic in case of using low features RB or having so many vlans in the network but in my case it should not affect the performance although it's not professional way of doing host isolation (to b...

There is a known hardware issue with a small percentage of CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ models. You are able to return faulty units to your distributor for repair. The units that shipped with RouterOS 6.18 are OK.  It is only a small number of units that shipped with earlier RouterOS releases that had the iss...

This method and other similar ones are doing great ..

but the real problem comes from the client side .. you see sometimes active users don't use the internet (tx rate 0 bps) and they reserve an equal bandwidth for doing nothing!!
