It is best not to upgrade but to install v7 from scratch using netinstall. Then you can cut/paste the original exported config to build back your config. (of course not for parts that have been completely revamped, such as BGP) What you can do when it hangs depends on the router model. E.g. with se...

after 7 upgrade router unresponsive after scheduled reboot

after the upgrade to 7 router becomes unresponsive after scheduled reboot (every 5 days). (happened 2 times and now i have disabled it) i can't connect to the router to see what's the problem, the leds don't light correctly as i have set them, they remain off instead of showing ethernet port activit...

i have the same problem, what's the official company answer? do i have to "recall" the routers i had installed to customers to install the separate package version? installing all the "extra packages" once resulted to bricking the router. never tried again. installing only the sy...

i had an old netgear wg502v3 ap setup as a client to an zte adsl modem/router (the modem/router doesn't support wds). i tried to "upgrade" to a mikrotik: my setup was modem/router connected to mikrotik via ether wireless bridged to another mikrotik and finally via ether to a another mikrot...

starting from v6.30 you have to specify host=members.dyndns.org for this to work
or i guess is a bug...
