Re: Saving SNMP to variable

If anyone interested, it's now possible to get an oid value inside script by using as-value property. I don't know in which ROS version it appeared, but in 7.8 it exists and works.
:local snmpvar [/tool snmp-get address=x.x.x.x oid=x.x.x... as-value]
:log info ($snmpvar->"value")

WinBox logging problem

Hello!
Sometimes I see a strange behavior in WinBox logging window. The records are not sorted by date and time and appear in random order in some situations (not sure what causes it). Screenshot attached. Restarting WinBox helps, but such behavior is unacceptable. Hope for fix.

Re: CSS326 IGMP Snooping not working!

Hoped to see some changes in 2.9, but the problem is not solved :( I have attached the drawing of my network setup to clarify the situation. There are two CSS326 switches and one CCR1009 router. The router is connected to the internet provider with IPTV. The switches are connected between with 10G o...

Re: SwOS SNMP + The Dude. How to setup?

I have looked in SNMP tree and it seems that the switch doesn't provides any data related to port tx/rx rate.
Please add this data!

Re: CSS326 IGMP Snooping not working!

Hello! I have a little different issue. When IGMP snooping is disabled, everything works as it should, multicast packets flood to all ports and IPTV works well. But when I enable this option, IPTV doesn't works at all! I can see IPTV members on IGMP tab, but no any multicast traffic is going through...

The Dude client update from the router

Hello! When I update RouterOS version on the router with Dude package, all Dude clients also require update. They can do it automatically if there is an internet on their PCs. But on some closed networks, that don't have an internet, updating process is a headache, I need to manually update each Dud...

Re: v6.42.1 [current]

There is a problem with dude fonts in this release. I have some font files placed in dude/files directory and now it's impossible to select these fonts in dude settings, it only shows fonts from dude/files/default directory (which is read-only). Earlier everything was great, and it was possible to s...

Re: Mikrotik losts its L2TP client configuration

Hello! We have absolutely the same problem periodically. The last time it was today on RouterOS 6.40.1. Model: RouterBOARD 941-2nD (hAP lite). We have lost connection with one of our remote devices and when we connected to it locally, all settings in L2TP client were on their defaults and client its...

Re: Winbox Font Size

Hello! It's really need to improve WinBox compatibility with Windows scaling feature. For example, I'm using a 4K display with 4096x2160 resolution and 31.5" screen size and interface looks ugly when Windows scaling is not equal to 100%. But it's impossible to use Windows without scaling on suc...

Feature request: Wireless Connect List monitoring

Dear MikroTik! It would be great, if you add a possibility to monitor availability of the wireless networks, specified in connect-list, and automatically connect to the most preferred, available in this list. For example, you have 2 networks in connect list: 1. Network1; 2. Network2. If you currentl...
