Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

Still unsolved problem:
ARM client with NV2 is disconnected from AP without reason (ROS 6.44). In log is - lost connection, synchronization timeout
Solution? Reboot client from LAN side. Ticket#2019012222004029

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

With ubiquiti AF HD we are very close to have 100 mb/s download speed with 10 MHz for PtP NOW for AP side with cambium we have >300 Mb/s@20 MHz using ultra dense mu-mimo technology So if DISC Lite5 ac DiscG-5acD 240mbit (if it really works) cost is 45$, what is the cost of cambium per mbit? This is...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

I think when u fix mixed mode for mipsbe and arm in nv2 u should make nv3 only for arm devices for new bases. This hardware is very good to be competitive and cheep comparing to cambium.

Which channel width do you use when trying to set centre frequency to 5480MHz?
5480Ce in Poland too. 5470-5725.

Re: MT alternatives for 17Km link?

I have a 17Km p2p link using MAnt30 solid dishes and NetMetal5 units. The link has never performed satisfactorily in the 2 years it has been running : using nstreme we see decent throughput but the link disconnects completely and reconnects, every few hours (even though it works perfectly well in b...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

I too!
We need nstreme without disconnects!
Nstreme works fine in 15 times hardware retries and dis timeout 00:00:15 long guard msc11-12-13. But i thing with ac nv2 1ms it would be stable 200mbit. When? ;)

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

Do U folks have a test base room for abaut 50-80 cpe like cambium? It would be much eisier to do tests. Best regards from Poland. Yes, of course. We have multiple anechoic chambers with robotic installation stands with tens of CPEs mounted. Seems that some situations are simply unique So maybe some...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

It is better. N 911G to sq ping is stable and stable 100mbit to sq. But. For waiting i thing u should give level 4 for all devices for micro bases. As other folks told ya, to much time waiting. Seriosly. Fix downlink- 65 mcs default, tdma auto.

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

that speed test is going to one client or to all clients together?
To 2 clients getting 80mbit 1x1 auto tdma ccq 70 and 85 so i think is`t getting better. Work on latency in overhead situation please.

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

Add me to the list of disasters with the 6.42. I also have an OmniTik 5HnD. With 6.42 running nv2 with about 15 SXT5 lite clients, the ping time went crazy, super jittery with a lot of timeouts, plus I couldn't maintain a winbox connection to the SXTs, winbox file transfers kept failing and overall...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

Does anyone see any improvements in real life? Ooh yes. We used to get not more than 15mbps per client with sectors with more than 30 clients when all clients are active. Testing, working good at a/n Ce with configured mcs up to 5 and 13 (75 nad 150mbit), guard interval long, period size 2ms, cell 10km, dynamic downlink ratio 50% Any chance for period size 1,5 or 2,5ms?

Feature Request: Real time MCS Queue in Wireless Tables

If station mcs is mcs 5, then station tx limit is x. This would be helpfull to isolate some bad singnal clients from the rest and control jumps of high latency and speed when bad station is downloading. In Nstream no lost conections, in NV2 higher global speed, in 802.11 better hotspot. This functio...
