Static host route is very unreliable in this release. I have a web server that I need to reach through another gateway and it works sporadically.
I didn't count but it works approx. 30 seconds and then a timeout for 30 seconds and so on.
Yes, I use Windows 7. I'm quite sure it was not like this in previous version of RouterOS.Do you use Windows? I have not seen such files. What is inside the file? Just a copy of the original?
No, it's not possible at all, because this is a single chipped network interface card (NIC) with a switch on it.Is there any way I can get this (clone/generic) router card to show up as 4 ethernet ports?
Like the UniKyrn said, it does not work with some clients that uses encryption. It's better to create rules for all standard protocols, and limit everything else.Scenario:
Is this configuration OK?
If that is the case, use this one 10.7.100.0/23 and it will be correct.we have computers inside in the range of 10.7.100.1 - 10.7.101.254
Your Winproxy Gateway must also be configured with static routes to your clients subnet, otherwise, this gateway will not know where to send the packets.1. from router i can ping to gateway both isp, but when i ping form client i cannot ping to anywhere
DWL-G520 is a better choice if you are going to buy a D-Link card. Take a look on the following homepage. Every card that works with the madwifi driver is compatible with Mikrotik RouterOS.can i use dlink-G510 with mk
Every day in a matter of fact, but today was the first time I saw the router board with a computer case on the front page, instead of a picture of the mainboard.have you actually ever been to http://www.mikrotik.com ? front page maybe?
Wrong Pickup Code:
The pickup code you entered is not correct. Possible reasons:
1. The file is expired.
2. The file owner closed the share or deleted the file.
3. The pickup code is not entered correctly.
MikroTik Router Software is available on multiple operating systems.
Using both wireless packages will cause huge problems. So I tried removing the wireless package thinking I shoudnt have both loaded, which simply left me with no wireless interface.
