Re: Intruder ? 912 basebox

Change your WAP2 password.
Or add the client to the access list and disable it's access. But that only helps if they do NOT change their MAC address.
Thanks your replay is really useful

Re: 912 BaseBox Lan capacity ?

I meant if you're saying that the airspeed is 300Mbits so can I get 300Mbits from the 912 LAN?? No. It means that the RF modulation speed is 300Mbps, the actual throughput will be slower. You will be able to get up to 100Mbps from the LAN to the radio. And in the same time, if someone will use your...

Re: 912 BaseBox Lan capacity ?

Think you are confusing the wireless sync speed to the ethernet lan speed.
Hi ..
are they not linked together on the same measurement units which is the Megabit?

Re: Omni-Tik signal and CCQ issues

Poor signal levels, unsecured connection. Mixing ubnt with mikrotik is not advisable. But in your case the signal levels should be much much better. What are your actual tx values?
Use 802.11 protocol and wpa2 in security profile.
Thank you for your replay ..
your answer is accurate.

Re: 912 Routerboard logging in issue

Hi ,
in winbox there are two way to connect to your device , with IP address and with MAC address , if you click on your device MAC address in winbox discovery list you can easily connect to it without setting your IP on the same range

thank you it worked as u said ..

Re: RouterBOARD 912.

If there are cables connected to CH0 and CH1, why would you need to cover it? If there ar NO cables connected, I don't think it really matters if they are covered. Just make sure that the radio is disabled and clean the connectors when you are going to use them again. It is connected to the antenna...

Re: Rouerboard 912 hacked ??

That looks like your ipv6 link local address. If you are not using ipv6 disable the package under system packages and it will go away.

Re: Rouerboard 912 hacked ??

It's actually pretty normal - it's just IPv6 address . Also take a look into wiki: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IPv6_Overview Thank you for replaying.. I had a look to the link u put but .. Does everyone who use winbox see that weird IP ? And why it doesn't show up under the other sectors? ...
