OpenVPN, Freeeradius, OpenLDAP user session can't be deleted.

I think that I have created this post on the wrong place so this is re-post of my old post. Old one is deleted. Does anyone have problem with OpenVPN connections using radius and OpenLDAP as database for users? My system is CCR1036-8G-2S+ RouterOS 6.43.4 I have almost 100 users (50 to 60 active at s...

Re: v6.45beta [testing] is released!

Before anyone asks. Configuration options for dot1x are not yet enabled in this release. Coming in next beta, most likely next week.
When dot1x become official, will it be applied to all switches (Router OS based as well as Switch OS)?

Re: v6.44.1 [stable] is released!

MAC telnet broken in 6.44.1, appears to be when router has multiple interfaces. Problem on all routers we've upgraded to 6.44.1 whilst 6.44 worked perfectly. We'll need to lab this, to provide more granular detail... I didn't try MAC telnet but ... I have an old RB411 which I use for testing differ...

Re: Winbox vulnerability: please upgrade

Automatic upgrade should be the default and is quickly becoming best practice. This is plain stupid! I could be fired on the spot if I don't issue warning about down time. Some environments depend on equipment which is 24/7/365 up. Not every one have Mikrotik in home or small office environment. If...

Re: v6.43.1 [stable] and v6.43.2 [stable] are released!

are those 3 hidden spots with Rx, Tx, and GND marking real serial port or just ... TTL serial. Get a TTL serial to USB converter from aliexpress or similar, and you can connect it to a PC and watch the boot procedure. (or even flash new firmware over serial when you are patient) Ah, nice suggestion...

Re: v6.43.1 [stable] and v6.43.2 [stable] are released!

The same here. My RB750GL is gone. Bricked. LED is blinking as it should but Netinstall never gets anything from RB750GL. That's third time in 7 years of working with various MT's but this time I just can't do a thing. Any sugestion? Try this: 1) Power your device off; 2) Power device on; 3) Press ...

Re: v6.43.1 [stable] and v6.43.2 [stable] are released!

I've just upgraded my good old RB750G from 6.42.7 to 6.43.2 using check for updates and then download and install. The front LEDs of the router went out, as they usually do when it reboots, but they never came back. Winbox (latest version) couldn't connect to the router, no DHCP, no internet, nothi...

Re: /tool fetch - to variable [SOLVED]

Same here, that would be handy. My workaround is to send current state with url parameters, then if there is nothing to change the HTTP server answers with status code 400. This raises an error at mikrotik side and aborts the script without writing any file or log entry. This solve is not so good a...

Hi, Unfortunately it doesn't work (real IP hidden). I dknow that I can write it to file but that is not what I like and this new option (output=user) will be great if only I can get it to work. How to access data variable when I use output=user?
[admin@mtTest] > /tool fetch output=

Output ::= file | none | user
none -- do not store downloaded data
user -- return up to 63k bytes directly in 'data' variable without storing on disk
file -- store to file

Files erased from Flash after reboot

We have bought new 962UiGS-5HacT2HnT for a project. As I have many different routers and switches from Mikrotik installed not only for my company I am accustomed to leave some files laying in flash memory as long I need them. With this model, after reboot those files are deleted. Is that normal beha...

Re: v6.35.2 [current] is released!

Hi, I have upgraded my RB1200 from 6.34.4 to 6.35.2 and all worked OK on the first glance. This is our main router firewall in test lab for connecting corporate net to test lab. I have checked connectivity to (almost) all mayor segments - no problems there. In the morning my colleagues reported that...
