Usermanager v7 "Session time left"

Hi! I am testing usermanager v7.13.5 to replace an older v6 UM. In UsermanV6, the hotspot receives, for each active user, the relevant data from the userman to set the "Session Time Left" field and hence, disconnect the user when it runs out of session time: Captura de pantalla 2024-02-23 ...

Hello,
First steps would be understand MPLS/VPLS and know what you expect. For the implementation part, having all your MPLS-wannabe network fully routed will be helpful.

Re: Add new Prob to hundreds servers

you can try adding your servers' networks to the discovery list. It will force a service discovery for all devices on the specified network and will add the new probe.

keep in mind that it will also re-add all the probes you removed from a specific device.

I've also noticed this behaviour. I prefer old style (v2.9) dns resolution directly from address field. When a hostname was entered, it automatically was resolved. Perhaps everyone should specify if they use UM for WISP or HOTSPOT so the Programmers can get an idea of which group needs which features.
I'm testing UM to work on both scenarios simultaneously, as WISP with my fixed clients and as Hotspot for one-time users.
Both options don't exclude each other.
