Re: Apple devices not reconnecting to wifi

If you updated your iPhone to iOS 14 recently, it will have autoactivated the "Private WIFI Address". Changes the MAC address per ssid once a day to a random new one. Useful to avoid tracking but badly implemented.
Feature has to be disabled per SSID on the iPhone.

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM MPLS Support

Hi,
Finally, are there dual power supply options?
Picture shown in original post showed two LEDs with PSU1 and PSU2 next to them. That'll be a definitive yes.

Re: v6.37.3 [current] is released!

MAJOR issue!!! Log in via winbox, loads new plugins, then acts like its about launch the window then disappears/closes out!! Downgrade back to 6.37.2 and fixed. GOOD thing I had HTTP/WEB enabled on this one so that I could log in and downgrade!!! I had no such issue upgrading from 6.36.3 to 6.37.3 ...

Switch from CBC to CTR.

HW acceleration seems bugged atm, handling ecryption via software is better atm :(

l2tp+ipsec aes256
Which AES algorithm did you choose? CBC, CTR or GCM?

Switching from CBC to CTR always got me a hefty performance boost.

Re: Feature request: Virtual Interface

Just chiming in with support for this feature. My ISP assigns IPs via DHCP and requires a different MAC address for each reservation. I've jimmied something up with a virtual router Bridge NATing to rewrite MAC addresses, etc. but it's horrible. The ability to add virtual interfaces with a unique M...

Re: I want 150 Mbps on P2P link

its 40 MHz. we are not getting bandwidth on 5MHz 10MHz and 20 MHz
With 40MHz channel width and 1 data stream you won't get 100Mbit of actual user data rate out of that 801.11ac P2P link.
Can you go for 80MHz channel width? Should put you 140-160Mbit @ 1 data stream in your constellation.

Re: I want 150 Mbps on P2P link

How many chains are active? Which Channel width is used?
chain 0 and chain 1 is activated
And what channel width? 5MHz? 10MHz? 20MHz? 40? 80?

Re: HAP AC

I screwed up setting. Can not connect to the unit. How can I reset the hAP AC? It is powered through POE.
Connect via Winbox "Neighbours" to MAC Address of the device. Username and password remain the same.

Re: new - wAP ac

Glad to see this. Any idea on actual release date? Shipments?
and price?
It's being offered on that site for 250zl / 60€ / 65$ / 45£ plus tax.
Should that be accurate and the hardware stable, then I'd say this is one hell of a kit :)

Re: Reset button on RB1100x2AH nowhere to be found?

Hi,

connect your PC into one of the LAN Ports (1-10) and see if you can access the RB via Winbox Neighbour List. When in doubt, just connect to the MAC Address.

Re: CCR1072 as a switch

Hi,
With MTU=9000 on both server and machine side, speed is now 12.5Gbit/s.
Would that be TCP or UDP testing with iperf? And with how many concurrent data connections?

Sers, why not use a 5Ghz "Nstreme Dual" setup? That way you can build a transparent full duplex wireless bridge. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Wireless#Nstreme_Dual http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Nstreme_dual_Step-by-Step Grab a pair of RB922UAGS-5HPacT-NM with an additiona...
