Re: v7.1beta2 [development] is released!

Wireguard is working well, except for that minor winbox issue with the endpoint port. With how easy it was to setup, I totally get the Wireguard hype now. IPSEC has a frustrating amount of knobs to turn. Between a couple hAP ac² routers, I was getting about 280 Mbps UDP. When I changed out one of th...

Re: Just going to leave this here...

Well one of these is now semi-announced: https://mt.lv/CCR2004_1G_12S_2XS It supports the -48volt DC PSU for the r2 CCR's as well! Very cool! I'm looking forward to the 16 core version for replacing some CCR1072 BGP routers, but those numbers for the 4 core one are pretty promising. The only head s...

Zerotier would be a great extra. Right now there's no good way to do a mesh VPN on Mikrotik and it's the reason why we had to deploy Cisco for part of our network.

100M is fine for us since we'd primarily be using it to split off a regular PTMP CPE where we don't currently have plans to do higher than 100M packages... That said, I wish the PoE out was gigabit.

I'm also very interested in the netpower stuff, all of the announced switches sound like they'll have a place in our network. Feature Request: L2TP LAC / VPDN

L2TP LAC is a feature that will come in handy to anyone deploying PPPoE on their network and we're currently stuck using Cisco for this. I'm fully aware that this can be implemented with WPA2-EAP to achieve something similar, the issue is that it uses external servers and software whereas implementing multiple WPA2-PSK keys in RouterOS would allow it to be done on one standalone device. There's also the issue of many consumer devices...

I've been working on a few Cambium cnPilot deployments lately and they recently added a very cool feature called "ePSK", which allows for one WiFi SSID to have multiple passwords, with each password being capable of putting the end device on a different VLAN.
