Re: Is it DDoS Attack, Or Something Else?

The problem of the ddos is the connection tracking overload. You need firewall rules to detect and add ip's in an address list and then block these in firewall RAW. This way it prevents the router from getting overloaded.

Re: CCR1072 watchdog reboot

Traffic exists on a single 10G SFP port with a VLAN tag as well on top of this. Traffic consists mostly of small packets - TX/RX 65-127 is actually the largest number out of all of them. The cause of the watchdog reboots its probably some specific features/items indeed. CCR1072 -> Doing a total of 5...

Re: v6.47.4 [stable] is released!

Yes, the file is in flash/file.rsc and we call the reset with that parameter. Same way as it was in previous versions and it was working. After upgrade this has stopped. There is a delay in the script also at start 15 seconds again as in previous versions. These tips you are mentioning are also requ...

I confirm this no longer works. run-after-reset is now broken. Also flashfig is now broken and will not execute scripts on boot after flashfigged. 6.46.7 also is broken. After upgrade from 6.47.3 my device stopped working. I was not able to connect over ethernet or WiFi. Even after restore config. I...

*) ppp - added support for "Framed-IPv6-Route" RADIUS attribute;

Re: Bridge is resetting CoS to 0 (was: Setting CoS from DSCP on PPPoE server)

The solution is to just switch the packets using the switch chip instead of the bridge.
Anything that passes through a bridge in a mikrotik that is CPU bound will remove the CoS priority !

mAP and wAP 48v DC Jack 8-57v - FALSE

Ok so the problem here is that mAP and wAP products state that they can go up to 57v from DC-in Jack. This is false advertising as we have attempted to feed proper conditioned positive 54v from a meanwell power supply that effectively burned both mAP and wAP that we have tested. We have also tested ...

Hi, I have the same issue. Once you ping an ip IP that is invalid the router will add to the ARP table an entry with zeroes 00 00 00 00 00 00. Removing that entry manually does not help - the entries re-appear automatically and never expire. Only with a reboot they go away eventually to re-appear if...
