Re: Winbox v3.20 released!

Making the window full screen in wine64 with winbox64 on macos Catalina breaks winbox - Just drag the edges to full screen if you want this to work. Also attempting to export/import addresses crashes wine64 with noexec filesystem error and hangs winbox. Other than the above it seems to be working to...

Re: Bridge is resetting CoS to 0 (was: Setting CoS from DSCP on PPPoE server)

The solution is to just switch the packets using the switch chip instead of the bridge.
Anything that passes through a bridge in a mikrotik that is CPU bound will remove the CoS priority !

Re: RouterOS 6.44.x pppoe client issue

There is also a problem with the 6.44.x branch with Radius and PPPoE - radius timing out after a few days of operation.
This has been reported to Mikrotik with support file via email.

Re: Report "Delegated-IPv6-Prefix" attribute for PPPoE

We need this please done - the need for IPv6 over Radios with PPPoE is a use case for most ISP's out there.

Re: Protected RouterBOOT

Can someone please from MikroTik update the wiki link for 6.43.8 Universal?
It is currently for 6.43.7 - i hate downgrading just for this.

Thank you

Re: v6.43rc [release candidate] is released!

If you remove the w60g interface from getting added to bridge, the link works. otherwise it reconnects constantly.

Please fix ;)

MTU 6.41.1 Change TCP MSS - Weirdness

We have fooled around a lot with 1500 PPPoE MTU sizes and recently have a small issue with the latest tcp mss automatic changes that have been implemented in the latest releases after 6.39.2 Just by change the "change TCP mss" setting to "On" in the PPP server profile and checking the MTU sizes from...

mAP and wAP 48v DC Jack 8-57v - FALSE

Ok so the problem here is that mAP and wAP products state that they can go up to 57v from DC-in Jack. This is false advertising as we have attempted to feed proper conditioned positive 54v from a meanwell power supply that effectively burned both mAP and wAP that we have tested. We have also tested ...

Re: RB260GSP, but PoE options missing from web GUI

If you want to avoid this bug - just set a password.

I do not know why.... but this is a workaround i found out it always works ;)

Enjoy!

Re: Seemlingly Random High Temperatures

Hi,

The CRS109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN seems to exhibit the same behavior running latest release v6.35.4. Monitoring via SNMP gives spikes of temperatures that are unreal.

Re: HELP !!!!! How to protect Router automatic Mac generate

Thanks @rememberme

As many have said incorrectly "it is ok do not worry about it" or even "filter it out" I have yet to see a routers arp table being larger to not being a problem ;)

Re: HELP !!!!! How to protect Router automatic Mac generate

@zerobyte Thanks for the explanation. Please note that this subnet (/24) has a dynamic route as it is declared on the WAN interface. On my side ARP is enabled on the interface.
MikroTik automatically adds that dynamic route - what can i do?

Re: HELP !!!!! How to protect Router automatic Mac generate

The arp entries do not expire though

And i once had 10k entries because of a large subnet being scanned....

Make an option to at least not display those!

Re: HELP !!!!! How to protect Router automatic Mac generate

Hi, I have the same issue. Once you ping an ip IP that is invalid the router will add to the ARP table an entry with zeroes 00 00 00 00 00 00. Removing that entry manually does not help - the entries re-appear automatically and never expire. Only with a reboot they go away eventually to re-appear if...

Re: swos is dead?

There are major bugs that have not been attended to yet. It seems it is dead and it is such a shame as the 260GSP is the only POE gigabit layer2 switch at a good price.

Still hoping for fixes !

CWDylan is right.

I have all the issues mentioned including Flow Control problems that plague the device as well

Can we expect a fix soon ?
