Re: v7.13 [stable] is released!

Use normal upgrade procedure. And yes, you first need to be on 7.12 or 7.12.1 before you can move to 7.13. Is in the release notes. You may want to read that part first. To quote the release notes: 1. When upgrading by using "check-for-updates", all versions earlier than 7.12 will display...

Having package management problems manually updating a hAP ax2 from 7.11.2 -> 7.13 Device has routeros-7.11.2 and wifiwave2-7.11.2 packages installed presently. Re: v7.11rc is released!

Out of curiosity, I've had a problem (as others have had) with MLAG. The problem was introduced in 7.7, and just prior to 7.10 being released, it was finally acknowledge as a problem with a solution pending. What hardware was this on? These fixes in 7.11rc3 have gotten my hEXr3s working the same as...

Hello,

The next 7.11rc version (not yet publicly available) will include additional fixes. Let us know if the problem still remains with this version.

Best regards,

Re: Bridge VLAN-Filter Offload broken on hEXr3?

Very interesting. I think this might be a Hardware Offload (R)STP bug rather than a VLAN filtering bug.

If the hEX gets to be the root bridge, this setup works. If the hEX has higher (worse) priority than the opposing node, RSTP will block ports instead.

Re: Bridge VLAN-Filter Offload broken on hEXr3?

There is nothing broken on the hex, except for the attempt to apply imaginary setups not based on reality and real requirements.
You can't be serious. You mean real setups like my RB5009 and CRS305 which maintain a trunk-only Hardware Offloaded link with each other?

Re: Bridge VLAN-Filter Offload broken on hEXr3?

These two configs work on older Mikrotiks that don't do hardware offloaded VLAN filtering. Re: Bridge VLAN-Filter Offload broken on hEXr3?

Difference I can see: you tag your VLAN-slave interface whereas I use bridge. And according to this excellent VLAN guide, it is recommended to use bridge, not slave VLAN-itf. I'm not actually sure exactly what you're referring to with "slave VLAN interface". I'm about 90% sure the differe...
