So PPPoE with DHCPv6 PD should work exactly the same as it did before v6.43.
manually create pools again? We need to create pools automatically with Radius for PPPoE.

If your script has more permissions that scheduler then scheduler will not be able to execute the script.
Before upgrade to this version your sentence was correct but now it is not correct anymore .
Now any schedule SIMPLE script need those permissions to run . It is a bug

Re: log: excessive or late collision, link duplex mismatch

Hello, The logs are warning about a misconfiguration. There is a duplex mismatch on the link. RB411AH has disabled autonegotiation (100Mbit, full duplex), but the RB750G has autonegotiation enabled which leads to packet collisions on the link. This script is not intended for PC connected to ppp, but for the RouterBoard (like CPE) remotely connected.
I know it may look impossible but INVENTING a way for that situation will be also very useful .

What happens if client's firewall blocks ping ( icmp ) ?
Then your script will always disconnect those clients .

Re: My thoughts for v6

It is still not possible to extract the full configuration of one device and import it into a new device. The built in backup system is device specific, and heavy editing of an configuration export is necessary to make it importable on another device.
This, a million times.

Is long time feature requested PPPoE Option 82 support Implemented in this version ? IF features are implemented in order of "popularity" i'm afraid you are in back row Me too . Unfortunately some little ( simple to programming ) enterprise features did not implemented because they are not popular .

Just dont mistake ROS 5.0 RTM as being stable, History tells us from ROS 3&4 that stability for production networks comes around ROS x.4-10, For out main network of 1000+ devices we'd only really moved to ROS 3 after 3.20-3.22, Even then the main network deployment was 3.30 which stayed that way un...
