Re: Minimum fibre length between S-3553LC20D

If support say attenuators are required is the datasheet incorrect? You only have to use attenuators when you use transceivers for a distance of couple meters. S-3553LC20D range is 20 kilometers, for example, if you use them to interconnect two devices with range 10km, attenuators is not necessary.

Re: Minimum fibre length between S-3553LC20D

For S-3553LC20D and such a short-range like 1-2 meters, you have yo use attenuators. Our SFP transceivers do not have auto-power adjustment.

Re: Minimum fibre length between S-3553LC20D

The SFP's will automatically increase/decrease power as needed. There's no minimum distance for a fiber cable. Maximum limitations are provided as there is loss / fade over long cable runs. Maybe there are transceivers with auto-power adjustment, but definitely not all of them. Maybe you can mentio...

Re: DHCP Server assign IPs to MACs 00:00:00:00:00:00

Most likely in your network, there is a device which replies to all ARP requests so the server believes that IP address is already used and does not give it out to the client. Server goes through all of the addresses in the pool until it is empty. You can: 1) Disable conflict detection on the server...

The only difference between CSS326-24G-2S+RM and CRS326-24G-2S+RM is RouterOS possibility, hardware is identical.
CSS326-24G-2S+RM can do switching at wire speed, I think performance table are not necessary. I`m sure both devices can deal with high port utilization and many servers.

Pay attention, we have:

  • version 2.7 for new RB260GS(CSS106-5G-1S), new RB260GSP(CSS106-1G-4P-1S)

In case you have CSS106-5G-1S or CSS106-1G-4P-1S, can you post us output from console? From which version you are trying to upgrade device?
