Re: tx power under 0dBm

Hello jebz,

with an attenuation unit You will loose precious dB. This is NOT acceptable option. Other radios can do that. Atheros chipset (Qualcom now) support it.
What stops Mikrotik from implementation ?

Re: tx power under 0dBm

That is incorrect.

Country regulations has the same limits as manual TX power.
So there is NO way to go under 0dBm except of LHG 5. According to MikroTik tech support this is the only model which is capable of reducing power under 0dBm.

tx power under 0dBm

Hello, I would like to use "mANT30", but in my country (Czech Republic) the maximum EIRP in 5500-5700 MHz is about 27dBm. According to manual there is an option to set negative power in dBm (-30 .. 30), which will effectively solve the problem (transmit power between 1um and 1W). But, it s...

Re: Feature request: script boot configuration

That is not the point. I want to have interpreted configuration just like it is in other routers, because it gives you certainty, that the system is in a consistent state after every reboot. At the moment I have to reset the router after some time and couple of version upgrades, just because it star...

Feature request: script boot configuration

It would be great to have such feature. Just some pro's of this: 1) administrator can choose between config versions for the next startup. 2) There will be no more problems with some hidden configuration inconsistency. 3) No more reset-configuration. It will be obsoleted by this. From my point of vi...

Re: Cloud Hosted Router

Nice job. but :-) there are some issues with the VMWARE platform. 1) vmdk format is not compatible with ESXi. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Therefore i suggest to alter the vmdk format to be ESXi compatible. Until then, there is an easy solution for this: After upl...

Re: v6.34.1 [current] is released!

I've noticed a bug in IPIP tunel export. In default compact mode. Parameter "keepalive" is always with exclamation mark.

It works fine with verbose parameter.
