At least that's not how it works for me, because if I fix the center, it stops showing the changing alignment angles in % percent. Therefore, I leave "auto" and adjust through it (as usual).

Re: v7.1.4 is released!

In my opinion, the current version of ROS 7 is designed only for arm devices and CPUs with four cores. When placed on an SXT 5HPnD with 400Mhz cpu, its processor often goes 100% down. I don't know what has changed, but old antennas with low-power cpu start to hang even with ROS 6.x.x when exposed to...

I only use ARMs as clients and I don't see any problem. I have throughput problem even with mibsbe in some cases, especially for client upload, or with NetMetal + mANT I only get 50Mbps throughput when with other vendors I get 200Mbps, but I think it's a mANT problem. We had a similar problem. mANT...

Re: Cube 60G ac

Does it work 60 GHz and 5GHz frequencies at the same time, or 5 Ghz switches only when drop 60 Ghz (or there will be a temporary break in the link)?

Re: Cube 60 (non-lite)?

Don't understand why you need a 1Gbps port? Do you want to offer your customers a higher tariff plan than 100 Mbps with such an outdoor antenna? This could rather be the exception. I would choose not to put more than 130m from the WAP60x3 base station. I think the MT tests were performed in the maxi...

Re: WIFI 6 Roadmap

MT is able to create very good products for a small ISP. MT is not talking about the priorities of technological solutions, but everything you need to work in a micro network is already there. Don't ask MT for more than being their segment. For a well-designed micro network, MT solutions are the mos...

Re: Newsletter #90

Would pair of LHG XL 52 ac be decent replacement for pair of QRT2, for PtP ? Using QRT2s because of tree foliage, haven't tried 5GHz yet in those conditions. 5GHz is more prone to obstacles than 2.4GHz, it is already lucky that your link works behind foliage, usually it is a big problem for wireles...

To me, this device looks like an offensive to a provaider, where it creates the basis for using the operator frequency indoors. Everyone will find it hard to indulge.

Re: Looking for cause of Ethernet issues CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC

Our same router often switches to 100Mbps. We used wires (10G Ethernet RJ45 CAT6A SFTP Patchcord Cable 0.5M LSOH), so we thought that wires are not a problem. We changed the ports and even the end routers. Some ports end router are burnt out. And only when the wires were replaced (self-made), everyt...

How thick is that cable? It works fine with all the shielded ethernets that I found here.
Normal outdoor cable 6-7mm

Re: Public-Mikrotik-Bandwidth-Test-Server(s)

Hi! Many thanks for the courage and charity. If someone has the opportunity to do the same - welcome! I tested from Latvia (EU). This is not the best way to test from EU, because both servers are located in the USA. The first server is 50 hops (devices between) second 14. With both of them there is ...

Re: SXT 6 and other 6 Ghz stuff [SOLVED]

We have a license for this frequency, but Mikrotik requires a minimum order of 20 antennas. This is another reason not to use mikrotik.

In my opinion, Disc is too ugly antenna to be mounted at all;), but yes, the price makes close your eyes.

Hex POE Lite is only FE not GB Hex POE will be GB but not released ! Mistry7 Thanks for the reply, I realized that we made a mistake Routers purchased  . It's also because MikroTik their specifications and brochures do not show whether it is 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps :( , but the seller has made...

Gigabit POE RB260GSP vs hEX PoE lite, what is what?

I do not understand why would have to buy a Gigabit POE Swith for $ 55.95, if you can buy the router for $ 59.95?
Where is the trick? -if swith to the operating temperature is lower, while energy consumption higher. Where are the pros?

Re: mANTBox 19s vs NetMetal 5 + 5G-19-120 AirMax

Our tests (w/o interferences) showed: sectorial mANTBox 19s is better dbi signal, but the worse quality (jumping), while sectorial SXTG 5HPnD-SAr2 dbi signal is worse, but better signal quality (stability). MikroTik signal sensitivity board is measured without the antenna, it makes me think, that th...
