Hi i m trying to connect my mikrotik with a nord vpn. i followed some instructions but i m getting
cant verify peer's certificate from store.
Any idea?

self signup

hi i m trying to configure a hotspot with self sign up for users.
so far i have hotspot working and the usermanager with just some users working fine.
about the self signup i tried to follow some steps but i m getting confused. if anybody can help i will appreciate it. thanks

i guess at this point i have no choice other than to reset the unit unless if somebody has any other idea. I think mikrotik had to find a bypass since that was a security bug from their firmware. I m checking most of my devices usually but that was an old client.

i tried it already. i even created a vm with a mikrotik iso and there it worked. unfortunately when I tried on two routers with this method, first with ip and after with mac both didnt work. with mac it was just hanging. you think that they blocked it when they got access?

lost password after exploit

I lost access with some of the routers that i have on older version i guess after the winbox exploit. Is there any way to retrieve the password or get access on the router without to reset it? one of them i need access without to loose the configuration. I tried some things but no luck yet. Thank you.

thanks yes i think i have to bridge the wan with the lan to be honest i forgot to do this. i just connected the mt directly on the hotspot and the computer on mt but by default it was getting only local ip from mt obviously.

ok so lets say that i use a Mikrotik RouterBOARD SXT 2NDR2 and i connect on the hotspot. how i will authenticate after through the browser?it will see the interface of mikrotik not the hotspot. to be more specific here in us the internet provider ( spectrum ) lets you have wifi from hotspot but you ...

mikrotik repeat hotspot

Is it possible to connect a mikrotik device on an existing network that has authentication through the browser? (hotspot). i know that i can connect but i dont know how i will authenticate through the mikrotik.

Hi i m looking to configure users with self-signup. I followed some instructions but i m having an issue. Where is the signup.html? Under the files of the router doesnt have any file like this.

L2TP IPSEC

I configured L2TP IPsec and its working fine except one issue..i can not ping any device under the lan only the router.

we were thinking to use the second wan only whenever the first one has issues...so to switch to the second one only whenever the first provider has issues...
i am interested also about qos i used it at the past but i m not sure what is the best also...
