Re: bonding

When you bond multiple interfaces there needs to be a bonding interface on the other site, either an own server or on the ISP sites. If the ISP is not possibly to do bonding your better of using PPC. Check out the wiki for more information. It may seem a bit difficult at first but once you get the h...

Re: VPNfilter official statement

Thanks for the heads-up.

Is there a specific version from which this malware is able to infect a mikrotik?
How about RouterOS 5.22 for example or 6.27?

RB850Gx2 vs RB450Gx4

Hi All,

Today I noticied that the RB850Gx2 is no longer on the mikrotik website.
In place there is a routerboard called RB450Gx4.

What is the main difference and why is the RB850Gx2 no longer availible?

Info RB450Gx4:

Anybody any thoughts?

Re: Mikrotik and camera ports

You need to setup a NAT rule to allow port 90 to the ip address of your NVR. Check this: /ip firewall nat add chain=dstnat dst-port=90 action=dst-nat protocol=tcp to-address=[IP OF NVR] to-port=90 This rule will allow connections on port 90 on your external IP address to reach your NVR. Different po...

Re: RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition

Running the RB1100AHx4 with Dude, L2TP IPSEC, Capsman, natting and firewall rules.
Huge improvement over my old RB2011.

One thing I miss is a POE out port for connecting my hap lite accespoint. Just saves a socket outlet.

Re: RB1100AHX2 running on low memory

You can use winbox for this.
Connect to the routerboards and click with your right mouse button in the winbox menubar and click add memory.

Or you could do it via the CLI
/system resource monitor
