If you setup RouterOS or SWOS it saves the config so if you change to either RouterOS or SWOS the config is still saved if you boot back to SWOS or RouterOS depending what you configured. if you configured both then both will still have their config when you switch between RouterOS and SWOS I don't ...

Regarding the fan fault-led, the SwOS v2.9 has few changes which require updated fan controller firmware that comes only within RouterOS. I know the port can have multiple addresses but it can only have 1 PPPoE server and i need like 2 PPPoE server on the same port
