Re: Slow LAN bandwidth

A stupid question:
In the CRS226 "Quick set" I can choose the mode: "Router" or "Bridge".
In this case (this was the default) the mode is "Router". Maybe can I change to the "Bridge"? I want to use the CRS226 as a normal switch.
Or this is unaffected for my slow bandwidth problem?

Re: Slow LAN bandwidth

Check that on both sides of the ethernet link the layer2 is set to "auto". Don't use fixed settings like 100 Mbit or FULL duplex. It will ruin your day. Thanks your fast answer. Where can I find the layer2 settings? I did'n find anywhere :( If I choose the RB951's ether2 interface I see this (gener...

Slow LAN bandwidth

Hi all! Sorry for my bad English. I have a RB951G-2HnD router and a CRS226-24G-2S+RM cloud router switch. I'm using the latest stable firmware (6.36) on this devices. The router has a factory default configuration. The cloud router switch has a factory default configuration also but I set "automatic...

Re: RB3011UiAS-RM

There's a separate topic about that issue: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=104716
Thank you I read this topic. I think even I'm waiting a few months to purchase... This is a new architecture. The Mikrotik still have to work on it.

Re: RB3011UiAS-RM

It has some problems with mysterious false-positive loop detection, but other than that it's good.
Thanks your answer!
What is the false-positive loop detection problem exactly? I never heard about this problem.

Re: RB3011UiAS-RM

Hi!

Sorry for my bad English.
Is this hardware is good and stable? The 2x1,4GHz ARM CPU sounds good but it is the first ARM based hardware router on the Mikrotik repertoire as I know.
Can somebody write his experience with this device?

Thanks!

Re: Mikrotik SFP module - Linksys switch - possible?

Hi all!

I have two Linksys LGS552-EU 48 ports ethernet switches. I bought two Mikrotik 85DLC03D SFP modules and the optical link is working good with 10GB speed between this switches! :)

Re: Mikrotik SFP module - Linksys switch - possible?

They are thoretically compatible, difficult to know if they will work without actually testing, as linksys may lock SFPs to their own brand, or another issues may arise.

If you test and they work, please report back!
Thank you!
We will test at this weekend. I will report the results of course :)

Mikrotik SFP module - Linksys switch - possible?

Hi! Sorry for my bad English. I want to use Mikrotik S+85DLC03D SFP modules with Linksys LGS552-EU ethernet switches. The recommended (by Linksys) SFP module for this switch is the Linksys LACXGSR. I never used SFP modules and optical cable before this time. I see some technical information the SFP ...
