Re: problem with dude , RouterOS status connection time out (6)

The timeouts can occur if DUDE server VS routers rOS is to far apart (if it caught one of the big updates like 6.46.3 to 6.46.4 breaks it)
Can also be permissions or IP>Services allowed IP's (of course winbox port follows that too)

Re: Dude Dbase corruption?

First thing i would try is move the DB to a usb drive, point DUDE server settings to it, and see if it will enable. If it does, then you have data that is adding up.

Re: Dude dead again?

The last working DUDE was 6.46.3, after that it crashes a lot.
I do have a 6.47.1 semi functional, takes 30 attempted log ins to get in, and i only have 5% of the network on it and its easy to crash

Re: Dude Edition Handshake Timed out Issue, and some more bigger issues.

There is additional custom user group with passive rights and dude connects by user which is member of that group. Dude is not connecting with admin rights to the devices.
Oh, i didnt realize that is what you ment. That is how we are setup as well

Re: Dude Edition Handshake Timed out Issue, and some more bigger issues.

I am not using invoking winbox from dude because I use special user with lowered rights for the the dude monitoring. Such user would be useless in winbox... And it works good without any obvious problems. Dude is also accepting syslog messages from the devices and store them as expected. I upgraded...

Re: Dude Edition Handshake Timed out Issue, and some more bigger issues.

So I did a test for you. Upgraded one of disposable devices in my lab to 6.47.2 (RB333 model, PowerPC architecture). The result in 6.46.6 Dude: RB333 v-6-47-2 in 6-46-6 Dude.JPG It is accessed both the winbox and SNMPv3 protocols without any problems from dude. I am interested in how your CHR on 6....

/dude set data-directory=(new_db_path)

You likely need to reset the DUDE database location, otherwise its trying to restore it to the main self (which i assume only has 95mb free)

We are having same issue, roll back to 6.46.3 and the issue goes away, anything above 46.3 has this issue. I have been fighting this for 2 weeks, we are just using the older dude that cant read routers...

DUDE was broken in 46.4 when they changed DUDE stuff, no longer functions properly

That was me, correct i had to flash my cAP AC to v7 before they would talk to the CAPS in my AC2 Its working stable, but it is a little buggy in the sense that the cap interfaces in the AC2 do not show ...

So its my understanding that the new hap ac has wave 2 support? Does that mean that the driver does as well? i.e. does it support all features of wave2 already or will that come at a later stage? Can the AP transmit to multiple clients on different spatial streams simultaneously? Currently we don't...

All through the browser

RB941-2nD
RB951-2nD
RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US

Are routers available for this. Will not need internet access, so wan is not important, Ideally would like to be able to program 3-4 at same time if possible
