For your curiosity, I use only RB1100Dx4 [RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition] with SSD inside. 6.46.3 is the latest "stable" dude from what we have found. We are still fumbling with newer versions but they are not stable

The timeouts can occur if DUDE server VS routers rOS is to far apart (if it caught one of the big updates like 6.46.3 to 6.46.4 breaks it)
Can also be permissions or IP>Services allowed IP's (of course winbox port follows that too)

First thing i would try is move the DB to a usb drive, point DUDE server settings to it, and see if it will enable. If it does, then you have data that is adding up.

The last working DUDE was 6.46.3, after that it crashes a lot.
I do have a 6.47.1 semi functional, takes 30 attempted log ins to get in, and i only have 5% of the network on it and its easy to crash

There is additional custom user group with passive rights and dude connects by user which is member of that group. Dude is not connecting with admin rights to the devices.

I am not using invoking winbox from dude because I use special user with lowered rights for the the dude monitoring. Such user would be useless in winbox... And it works good without any obvious problems. Dude is also accepting syslog messages from the devices and store them as expected. I upgraded...

So I did a test for you. Upgraded one of disposable devices in my lab to 6.47.2 (RB333 model, PowerPC architecture). The result in 6.46.6 Dude: RB333 v-6-47-2 in 6-46-6 Dude.JPG It is accessed both the winbox and SNMPv3 protocols without any problems from dude. I am interested in how your CHR on 6....

You likely need to reset the DUDE database location, otherwise its trying to restore it to the main self (which i assume only has 95mb free)

We are having same issue, roll back to 6.46.3 and the issue goes away, anything above 46.3 has this issue. I have been fighting this for 2 weeks, we are just using the older dude that cant read routers...

DUDE was broken in 46.4 when they changed DUDE stuff, no longer functions properly

Someone in another thread mentioned that capsman in v7 worked, but CAP's had to be v7 as well... Update on CAPs, i updated one of the CAP AC to 7, then it recognized my ac2 capsman again.
Incase anyone else happens to try it.

Edit - found a new bug, CAP AC lost poe out ability, no longer in interface, HOWEVER i can see it in terminal but i cannot enable it
