Re: RB4011

just tested a 4011 - i paired it up with a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ using GE only. with regards to its single-core CPU performance, i'd say it is at par with the 1.2GHz tilera core, or i might say it is superior just a tiny little bit. i tested it for a project where we use a cr*pload of tunnel/encapsulat...

Re: SIP client cannot re-register in the SIP server after switching ISP (different NAT) [SOLVED]

@NathanA, your scenario really smells like a RouterOS bug, so support@mikrotik.com. If counting the connection timeout up actually has some special meaning, it should be stated in the documentation, which is not the case. ` Agreed, it smells like a bug. But I'm not the first one to encounter it and...

Re: PPoE + SIP Issue/Bug [Ticket#2018031922003491] [SOLVED]

As I discussed with support: The problem is an old PPPoE + UDP kernel bug in Linux, the problem will get fixed with RouterOS v7 since it's using a new kernel. Sadly still no ETA on v7. Just expirienced the problem again with L2TP over PPPoE, sometimes recreating the Interface doesn't even work. &qu...

Re: PPoE + SIP Issue/Bug [Ticket#2018031922003491] [SOLVED]

Our ISP who mainly works with Mikrotik as well has found a work around, you need to implement a script on the PPP profile of your ppoe interface. Implement it "On Down" - in this case pppoe-out1 uses ether1 to establish the connection (change this as you desire). 5 Seconds of delay seem to...

Re: PPoE + SIP Issue/Bug [Ticket#2018031922003491] [SOLVED]

Try what I wrote in last reply: https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=133907&p=658818#p658818 Ok this seems quite interesting, could you elaborate this a bit further? I think it's not quite the same since I'm expiriencing the problem on a single PPoE Interface. ____________________...

Re: SIP Account Registration Problem

Are you using PPPoE? Have you tried rebooting or copying the PPoE interface instead of resetting the entire router?

PPoE + SIP Issue/Bug [Ticket#2018031922003491] [SOLVED]

Re: NAT table not cleared correctly [SOLVED]

I've forgot to ask, have you recreated (deleted and then created it again) PPPoE client interface in these situations? Same problem, do we have to recreate a PPoE Interface now everytime? This can't be a long term solution... as of now multiple Clients have to be restarted every day because of this...

If somebody got this to work with freeradius and would give me some hint it would be really appreciated, would prefer that a lot over a windows solution.

Thanks!

Re: capsman + freeradius + user based vlan

Well it works with Tekradius like mentioned here: http://mum.mikrotik.com/presentations/C ... 137144.pdf

so it seems like a freeradius issue.

capsman + freeradius + user based vlan

Hi everyone, I'm trying to assign VLANs based on a user authentification (so EAP and no PSK), for example if user2 logs in he automatically assigns VLAN2 and recieves a 192.168.202.0/24 IP-Address from the DHCP Server Used Software/Packages: Freeradius Version 3.0.11 Router OS v6.35.4 CapsmanV2 Wire...
