Re: Proxomox Hosted CHR - IP Configuration

Try this:
/ip address add interface=ether1 address=99.88.9.17 network=99.88.7.180
/ip route add dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 gateway=99.88.7.180
Awesome that worked a treat, thanks a lot for your help.

Not entirely sure. Within today it should return. But I urge the v6.42 and older users to upgrade to v6.43. It's very stable right now. The new v2 cloud is hosted in our new Tier 2 data centers. The old one ... not so much. Unless your a UK sxt Lte user in which case it renders the device useless.....

Probably you could do that using L7 filtering capabilities. However it's (router's) CPU intensive. If you can, better use two different ports, forwarded to rwo different LAN IP addresses. Or install a tiny device (Rasberry PI would do) with http proxy installed. Thanks ! Will skip that idea then :)

Re: Troublesome Firewall rule (NAT?)

Perhaps it's a typo, in text you have 10.0.0.155, in NAT rule IP is 10.0.0.55 Remove from NAT rule src-port=8082 and add in-interface=your-wan-interface (or dst-address=your-wan-ip) to it. And, you don't need this firewall rule, except, if you are blocking all tcp ports in forward chain (unlikely)....

Re: SXT LTE lost lte interface

Initial suspicion is that this is a problem in the driver, so we are working with the chipset manufacturer to investigate. It seems that if you need a quick fix, the wAP LTE or some other hardware replacement (we have several devices that support miniPCIe LTE modems) is the quickest fix for the imp...

Shared SSID

Hi I have a HAP AC that is running with a shared SSID. When I look in registrations I can see everything is using WLAN1 which is the 2.4GHz band and nothing is going onto the 5GHz. If i rename the 5GHz band to a different SSID my devices can connect to it no problem, is there a reason everything see...

Carrier Grade NAT + Remote monitoring / management

Hi all. This maybe more of a Linux question ultimately ... but I will start here to make sure the concept works ! I have an SXT-LTE that I use to work from home with, no broadband here ! The SXT-LTE works like a charm but only gets an IP address from my provider that is allocated from the carrier gr...

Give a load more info on the kit you are using and the configuration would be a great starting point.

It's one thing, as a provider, to know that you have saturated uplinks and deny it, and it's another to not being able to dispute that when confronted with irrefutable technical evidence (and not decade old opinions ). Especially when there are SLAs involved. Exactly and the provider is totally den...

Cheers - is that per device or is that shared between devices (again sorry, I'm learning !).

I was thinking maybe by pushing 2 devices on at once i could prove it can hit the 40 !

There is the MikroTik SXT LTE device http://routerboard.com/RBSXTLTE3-7 that is a turnkey solution for what you want.
(combine it with an access point to get WiFi connection)
Awesome, what would you recommend AP wise that could also be mounted outside and give good coverage for the site ?

Thanks !

Of course monitoring/testing the link makes it even worse. I don't think you have to explain the provider that the link is bad, they know that very well.
