Re: CHR Licence on replicated instance

I run PVE cluster with alot CHRs on it and migration works like a charm. No UUID changes.
Also possible workaround is to use Proxmox Backup Server and do a backup->restore. Also keeps the UUID of the VM and therefor the license.

Re: (BUG) Dude Client crashing on device details and charts

I figured out that there is issue with the DB that causes that crashes.
Workaround is to export DB and import it again. In this process it has some kind of self repair mechanism.

Re: Dude CHR upgrade to V7 issue

My fix was: On the current setup (6.48.4, with 64MB system disk and 60 GB disk1 where the DB is) - export the DB to file - resize the main disk from 64MB to 2GB on hypervisor - Resize the partition using GParted live CD - Start the RouterOS, go to Dude -> Settings and change the data path to the mai...

So I'm bit confused.
I'm currently on 6.48.4 on most of devices. Many of them are used as agents.
If upgrade The Dude Server to 7.2.x will it be able to use agent devices running on 6.48.4 ?

Is there a way to use v7 devices as agents for 6.48 dude server ?
Or any other way-around, where the routers will be upgraded to v7 but still be used as agents for v6 Dude ?

- The DUDE server is not available under 7.1 packages. Therefore we had to leave our CHR and Dude server in 6.49.2. +1 for The Dude Server... Did someone try to use 7.1 agents on 6.48.x Dude Server ? I suppose it will not work, as the previous minor version upgrades wasn't compatible with each other

I have taken the risk and purchase batch of 6 switches (5 - 48G and 1 - 48P) and now I'see that they are Revision 2
Obviously Mikrotik do some reengineering, but as always in a silent manner. Hope this revision be solid.

The problem appear with longer cables. We have setups with CRS and hAP as Access Points powered over PoE injectors on short length cables and it works OK. If I understand You correctly, this should do the thing: [admin@MikroTik] > ip firewall filter add chain=forward src-address=X.X.X.X action=drop (where X.X.X.X is the IP of your PC) This rule will block ALL the traffic which destination is throughout the router.
